No trigésimo nono ano do seu reinado, Asa foi acometido de uma doença muito grave nos pés. Mesmo assim, ele não buscou ajuda de Yahweh, mas apenas dos médicos.

Y el año treinta y nueve de su reinado enfermó Asa de los pies para arriba, y en su enfermedad no buscó á Jehová, sino á los médicos.

And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet. His disease was exceedingly great; yet in his disease he didn’t seek the LORD, but just the physicians.
