And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramoth-gilead.

Denn Ahab, der König von Israel, sprach zu Josaphat, dem König von Juda: Willst du mit mir nach Ramot in Gilead hinaufziehen? Er sprach zu ihm: Ich will sein wie du, und mein Volk wie dein Volk, und ich will mit dir in den Krieg.

And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramoth-gilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.

Aber Josaphat sprach zum König von Israel: Befrage doch heute das Wort des HERRN!
Además dijo Josaphat al rey de Israel: Ruégote que consultes hoy la palabra de Jehová.
And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire first for the LORD’s word.”
Da versammelte der König von Israel die Propheten, vierhundert Mann, und sprach zu ihnen: Sollen wir gen Ramot in Gilead in den Krieg ziehen, oder soll ich es unterlassen? Sie sprachen: Ziehe hinauf, denn Gott wird sie in die Hand des Königs geben!
Entonces el rey de Israel juntó cuatrocientos profetas, y díjoles: ¿Iremos á la guerra contra Ramoth de Galaad, ó estaréme yo quieto? Y ellos dijeron: Sube, que Dios los entregará en mano del rey.
Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king’s hand.

Josaphat aber sprach: Ist hier kein Prophet des HERRN mehr, daß wir durch ihn fragen könnten?

Der König von Israel sprach zu Josaphat: Es ist noch ein Mann, durch den man den HERRN fragen kann; aber ich bin ihm gram, denn er weissagt mir nichts Gutes, sondern immer nur Böses; das ist Michaja, der Sohn Jimlas. Josaphat sprach: Der König rede nicht also!
Y el rey de Israel respondió á Josaphat: Aun hay aquí un hombre por el cual podemos preguntar á Jehová: mas yo le aborrezco, porque nunca me profetiza cosa buena, sino siempre mal. Este es Michêas, hijo de Imla. Y respondió Josaphat: No hable así el rey.
And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” Jehoshaphat said, “Don’t let the king say so.”

And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made himself horns of iron and said, “The LORD says, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.’”
Und alle Propheten weissagten auch also und sprachen: Ziehe hinauf gen Ramot in Gilead, und es wird dir wohlgehen! Der HERR wird es in die Hand des Königs geben!
De esta manera profetizaban también todos los profetas, diciendo: Sube á Ramoth de Galaad, y sé prosperado; porque Jehová la entregará en mano del rey.
And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Und der Bote, der hingegangen war, Michaja zu rufen, redete mit ihm und sprach: Siehe, die Reden der Propheten sind einstimmig gut für den König. So laß nun dein Wort auch sein wie das ihre und rede Gutes!
Y el mensajero que había ido á llamar á Michêas, le habló, diciendo: He aquí las palabras de los profetas á una boca anuncian al rey bienes; yo pues te ruego que tu palabra sea como la de uno de ellos, que hables bien.
And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Let your word therefore, please be like one of theirs, and speak good.”
Michaja aber sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt: was mein Gott sagen wird, das will ich reden!
Y dijo Michêas: Vive Jehová, que lo que mi Dios me dijere, eso hablaré. Y vino al rey.
And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.
Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, I will say what my God says.”
Und als er zum König kam, sprach der König zu ihm: Micha, sollen wir gen Ramot in Gilead in den Krieg ziehen, oder soll ich es unterlassen? Er sprach: Ziehet hinauf und fahret wohl; sie sollen in eure Hände gegeben werden!
Y el rey le dijo: Michêas, ¿iremos á pelear contra Ramoth de Galaad, ó estaréme yo quieto? Y él respondió: Subid, que seréis prosperados, que serán entregados en vuestras manos.
And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.
When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?” He said, “Go up, and prosper. They shall be delivered into your hand.”
Aber der König sprach zu ihm: Wie oft muß ich dich beschwören, daß du mir nichts als die Wahrheit sagest im Namen des HERRN?
Y el rey le dijo: ¿Hasta cuántas veces te conjuraré por el nombre de Jehová que no me hables sino la verdad?
And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou say nothing but the truth to me in the name of the LORD?
The king said to him, “How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”
Da sprach er: Ich sah ganz Israel auf den Bergen zerstreut, wie Schafe, die keinen Hirten haben. Und der HERR sprach: Diese haben keinen Herrn; ein jeder kehre wieder heim in Frieden!
Entonces él dijo: He visto á todo Israel derramado por los montes como ovejas sin pastor: y dijo Jehová: Estos no tienen señor; vuélvase cada uno en paz á su casa.
Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
He said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. The LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”
Da sprach der König von Israel zu Josaphat: Sagte ich dir nicht, er weissage mir nichts Gutes, sondern nur Böses?
Y el rey de Israel dijo á Josaphat: ¿No te había yo dicho que no me profetizaría bien, sino mal?
And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil?
The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Didn’t I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”
Er aber sprach: Darum höret das Wort des HERRN: Ich sah den HERRN auf seinem Throne sitzen, und das ganze Heer des Himmels stand zu seiner Rechten und zu seiner Linken.
Entonces él dijo: Oid pues palabra de Jehová: Yo he visto á Jehová sentado en su trono, y todo el ejército de los cielos estaba á su mano derecha y á su izquierda.
Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the LORD’s word: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
Und der HERR sprach: Wer will Ahab, den König von Israel, betören, daß er hinaufziehe und falle zu Ramot in Gilead?
Y Jehová dijo: ¿Quién inducirá á Achâb rey de Israel, para que suba y caiga en Ramoth de Galaad? Y uno decía así, y otro decía de otra manera.
And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.
The LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One spoke saying in this way, and another saying in that way.
Und nachdem der eine dies, der andere das gesagt hatte, kam ein Geist hervor und trat vor den HERRN und sprach: Ich will ihn betören! Der HERR aber sprach zu ihm: Womit?
Mas salió un espíritu, que se puso delante de Jehová, y dijo: Yo le induciré. Y Jehová le dijo: ¿De qué modo?
Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?
A spirit came out, stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “The LORD said to him, ‘How?’
Er sprach: Ich will ausgehen und ein Geist der Lüge sein im Munde aller seiner Propheten! Da sprach er: Du sollst ihn betören, und du wirst es auch vermögen! Gehe aus und tue also!
Y él dijo: Saldré y seré espíritu de mentira en la boca de todos sus profetas. Y Jehová dijo: Incita, y también prevalece: sal, y hazlo así.
And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.
“He said, ‘I will go, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ “He said, ‘You will entice him, and will prevail also. Go and do so.’
Und nun siehe, der HERR hat einen Geist der Lüge in den Mund dieser deiner Propheten gelegt; und der HERR hat Unglück über dich beschlossen.
Y he aquí ahora ha puesto Jehová espíritu de mentira en la boca de estos tus profetas; mas Jehová ha decretado el mal acerca de ti.
Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.
“Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets; and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.”
Da trat Zedekia, der Sohn Kenaanas, herzu und schlug Michaja auf den Backen und sprach: Auf welchem Weg ist der Geist des HERRN von mir gewichen, um mit dir zu reden?
Entonces Sedechîas hijo de Chênaana se llegó á él, é hirió á Michêas en la mejilla, y dijo: ¿Por qué camino se apartó de mí el espíritu de Jehová para hablarte á ti?
Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the LORD’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”
Michaja sprach: Siehe, du wirst es sehen an dem Tage, wenn du von einem Gemach in das andere laufen wirst, um dich zu verbergen!
Y Michêas respondió: He aquí tú lo verás aquel día, cuando te entrarás de cámara en cámara para esconderte.
And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”
Da sprach der König von Israel: Nehmt Michaja und bringet ihn wiederum zu Amon, dem Obersten der Stadt, und zu Joas, dem Sohn des Königs,
Entonces el rey de Israel dijo: Tomad á Michêas, y volvedlo á Amón gobernador de la ciudad, y á Joas hijo del rey.
Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;

und saget: So spricht der König: Legt diesen ins Gefängnis und speiset ihn mit Brot der Trübsal und mit Wasser der Trübsal, bis ich in Frieden wiederkomme!

Michaja sprach: Kommst du in Frieden wieder, so hat der HERR nicht durch mich geredet! Und er sprach noch: Höret zu, ihr Völker alle!
Y Michêas dijo: Si tú volvieres en paz, Jehová no ha hablado por mí. Dijo además: Oidlo, pueblos todos.
And Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace, then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people.
Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, you people, all of you!”

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.

Aber der König von Syrien hatte den Obersten über seine Wagen ausdrücklich geboten: Ihr sollt weder gegen Kleine noch Große streiten, sondern allein gegen den König von Israel!
Había el rey de Siria mandado á los capitanes de los carros que tenía consigo, diciendo: No peleéis con chico ni con grande, sino sólo con el rey de Israel.
Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.
Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, “Don’t fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel.”
Als nun die Obersten der Wagen Josaphat sahen, dachten sie: «Das ist der König von Israel!» und gingen auf ihn los zum Kampf. Aber Josaphat schrie, und der HERR half ihm; und Gott lockte sie von ihm weg.
Y como los capitanes de los carros vieron á Josaphat, dijeron: Este es el rey de Israel. Y cercáronlo para pelear; mas Josaphat clamó, y ayudólo Jehová, y apartólos Dios de él:
And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore they turned around to fight against him. But Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
Als nun die Obersten der Wagen sahen, daß er nicht der König von Israel sei, wandten sie sich von ihm ab.

For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him.

Aber ein Mann spannte seinen Bogen von ungefähr und traf den König von Israel zwischen den Fugen des Panzers. Da sprach er zu seinem Wagenlenker: Wende um und führe mich aus dem Heer; denn ich bin verwundet!

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”
Aber der Kampf ward heftiger an jenem Tag. Und der König von Israel stand auf seinem Wagen den Syrern gegenüber, bis zum Abend, und er starb zur Zeit des Sonnenuntergangs.
Y arreció la batalla aquel día, por lo que estuvo el rey de Israel en pie en el carro enfrente de los Siros hasta la tarde; mas murió á puestas del sol.
And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died.
The battle increased that day. However, the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the evening; and at about sunset, he died.
