E GIOSAFAT, essendo dimorato alquanto tempo in Gerusalemme, andò di nuovo attorno fra il popolo, da Beerseba fino al monte di Efraim, e li ridusse al Signore Iddio de' lor padri.
Habitó pues Josaphat en Jerusalem; mas daba vuelta y salía al pueblo, desde Beer-seba hasta el monte de Ephraim, y reducíalos á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Ora dunque, sia lo spavento del Signore sopra voi; prendete guardia al dover vostro, e mettetelo ed effetto; perciocchè appo il Signore Iddio nostro non vi è alcuna iniquità, nè riguardo alla qualità delle persone, nè prendimento di presenti.
Sea pues con vosotros el temor de Jehová; guardad y haced: porque en Jehová nuestro Dios no hay iniquidad, ni acepción de personas, ni recibir cohecho.

Oltre a ciò, Giosafat costituì anche in Gerusalemme alcuni d'infra i Leviti, e d'infra i sacerdoti, e d'infra i capi delle famiglie paterne d'Israele, per tener la ragione del Signore, e per giudicar le liti; e si ricorreva in Gerusalemme.
Y puso también Josaphat en Jerusalem algunos de los Levitas y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová y para las causas. Y volviéronse á Jerusalem.
Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

E comandò loro che così facessero nel timor del Signore, con lealtà, e di cuore intiero.
Y mandóles, diciendo: Procederéis asimismo con temor de Jehová, con verdad, y con corazón íntegro.
And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

Ed in ogni lite, che sarà portata davanti a voi da' vostri fratelli, che abitano nelle lor città, per giudicar fra omicidio ed omicidio, fra legge e comandamento, e fra statuti e ordinazioni, chiariteli; acciocchè non si rendano colpevoli appo il Signore, onde vi sia ira contro a voi, e contro a' vostri fratelli; fate così, acciocchè non vi rendiate colpevoli.
En cualquier causa que viniere á vosotros de vuestros hermanos que habitan en las ciudades, entre sangre y sangre, entre ley y precepto, estatutos y derechos, habéis de amonestarles que no pequen contra Jehová, porque no venga ira sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hermanos. Obrando así no pecaréis.
And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward the LORD, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Or ecco il sommo sacerdote Amaria sarà presidente fra voi in ogni affare del Signore; e Zebadia, figliuolo d'Ismaele, conduttore della Casa di Giuda, in ogni affare del re. Voi avete ancora a vostro comando gli ufficiali Leviti; prendete animo, e adoperatevi, e il Signore sarà co' buoni.
Y he aquí Amarías sacerdote será el que os presida en todo negocio de Jehová; y Zebadías hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; también los Levitas serán oficiales en presencia de vosotros. Esforzaos pues, y obrad; que Jehová será con el bueno.
