Mais Jéhu, fils de Hanani, le Voyant, sortit au-devant du roi Josaphat, et lui dit : Est-ce le méchant qu’il faut aider ? Sont-ce les ennemis de l’Éternel que tu aimes ? A cause de cela, l’Éternel est irrité contre toi.
Y salióle al encuentro Jehú el vidente, hijo de Hanani, y dijo al rey Josaphat: ¿Al impío das ayuda, y amas á los que aborrecen á Jehová? Pues la ira de la presencia de Jehová será sobre ti por ello.

Mais il s’est trouvé de bonnes choses en toi, car tu as ôté du pays les emblèmes d’Ashéra, et tu as appliqué ton cœur à rechercher Dieu.
Empero se han hallado en ti buenas cosas, porque cortaste de la tierra los bosques, y has apercibido tu corazón á buscar á Dios.
Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

Et Josaphat habita à Jérusalem. Puis, de nouveau, il sortit parmi le peuple, depuis Béer-Shéba jusqu’à la montagne d’Éphraïm, et il les ramena à l’Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères.
Habitó pues Josaphat en Jerusalem; mas daba vuelta y salía al pueblo, desde Beer-seba hasta el monte de Ephraim, y reducíalos á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Il établit aussi des juges dans le pays, dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda, dans chaque ville.

Y dijo á los jueces: Mirad lo que hacéis: porque no juzgáis en lugar de hombre, sino en lugar de Jehová, el cual está con vosotros en el negocio del juicio.
And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, for you don’t judge for man, but for the LORD; and he is with you in the judgment.
Maintenant, que la crainte de l’Éternel soit sur vous ; prenez garde à ce que vous ferez ; car il n’y a point d’iniquité dans l’Éternel notre Dieu, ni d’acception de personnes, ni d’acceptation de présents.
Sea pues con vosotros el temor de Jehová; guardad y haced: porque en Jehová nuestro Dios no hay iniquidad, ni acepción de personas, ni recibir cohecho.

Josaphat établit aussi à Jérusalem des Lévites, et des sacrificateurs, et des chefs des pères d’Israël, pour le jugement de l’Éternel, et pour les contestations. Et on revint à Jérusalem.
Y puso también Josaphat en Jerusalem algunos de los Levitas y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová y para las causas. Y volviéronse á Jerusalem.
Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
Moreover in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat appointed certain Levites, priests, and heads of the fathers’ households of Israel to give judgment for the LORD and for controversies. They returned to Jerusalem.
Et il leur donna des ordres, en disant : Vous agirez ainsi dans la crainte de l’Éternel, avec fidélité et avec intégrité de cœur.
Y mandóles, diciendo: Procederéis asimismo con temor de Jehová, con verdad, y con corazón íntegro.
And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

Et pour les différends qui viendront devant vous, de la part de vos frères qui habitent dans leurs villes, qu’il s’agisse d’un meurtre, d’une loi, d’un commandement, de statuts ou d’ordonnances, vous les éclairerez, afin qu’ils ne se rendent pas coupables envers l’Éternel, et qu’il n’y ait point de courroux sur vous et sur vos frères. Vous agirez ainsi, et vous ne serez point trouvés coupables.
En cualquier causa que viniere á vosotros de vuestros hermanos que habitan en las ciudades, entre sangre y sangre, entre ley y precepto, estatutos y derechos, habéis de amonestarles que no pequen contra Jehová, porque no venga ira sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hermanos. Obrando así no pecaréis.
And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward the LORD, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.
Et voici, Amaria, le principal sacrificateur, est préposé sur vous pour toutes les affaires de l’Éternel, et Zébadia, fils d’Ismaël, prince de la maison de Juda, pour toutes les affaires du roi ; et pour secrétaires vous avez devant vous les Lévites. Fortifiez-vous et agissez ; et que l’Éternel soit avec l’homme de bien !
Y he aquí Amarías sacerdote será el que os presida en todo negocio de Jehová; y Zebadías hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; también los Levitas serán oficiales en presencia de vosotros. Esforzaos pues, y obrad; que Jehová será con el bueno.
And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.
