Salomon, fils de David, s’affermit dans son règne; l’Éternel, son Dieu, fut avec lui, et l’éleva à un haut degré.

Y SALOMÓN hijo de David fué afirmado en su reino; y Jehová su Dios fué con él, y le engrandeció sobremanera.

And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.

Salomon donna des ordres à tout Israël, aux chefs de milliers et de centaines, aux juges, aux princes de tout Israël, aux chefs des maisons paternelles;

Y llamó Salomón á todo Israel, tribunos, centuriones, y jueces, y á todos los príncipes de todo Israel, cabezas de familias.

Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.

et Salomon se rendit avec toute l’assemblée au haut lieu qui était à Gabaon. Là se trouvait la tente d’assignation de Dieu, faite dans le désert par Moïse, serviteur de l’Éternel;

Y fué Salomón, y con él toda esta junta, al alto que había en Gabaón; porque allí estaba el tabernáculo del testimonio de Dios, que Moisés siervo de Jehová había hecho en el desierto.

So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.

mais l’arche de Dieu avait été transportée par David de Kirjath-Jearim à la place qu’il lui avait préparée, car il avait dressé pour elle une tente à Jérusalem.

Mas David había traído el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim al lugar que él le había preparado; porque él le había tendido una tienda en Jerusalem.

But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjath-jearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

Là se trouvait aussi, devant le tabernacle de l’Éternel, l’autel d’airain qu’avait fait Betsaleel, fils d’Uri, fils de Hur. Salomon et l’assemblée cherchèrent l’Éternel.

Asimismo el altar de bronce que había hecho Bezaleel hijo de Uri hijo de Hur, estaba allí delante del tabernáculo de Jehová, al cual fué á consultar Salomón con aquella junta.

Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.

Moreover the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was there before the LORD’s tabernacle; and Solomon and the assembly were seeking counsel there.

Et ce fut là, sur l’autel d’airain qui était devant la tente d’assignation, que Salomon offrit à l’Éternel mille holocaustes.

Subió pues Salomón allá delante de Jehová, al altar de bronce que estaba en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y ofreció sobre él mil holocaustos.

And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.

Pendant la nuit, Dieu apparut à Salomon et lui dit: Demande ce que tu veux que je te donne.

Y aquella noche apareció Dios á Salomón, y díjole: Demanda lo que quisieres que yo te dé.

In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

That night, God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for what you want me to give you.”

Salomon répondit à Dieu: Tu as traité David, mon père, avec une grande bienveillance, et tu m’as fait régner à sa place.

Y Salomón dijo á Dios: Tú has hecho con David mi padre grande misericordia, y á mí me has puesto por rey en lugar suyo.

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

Solomon said to God, “You have shown great loving kindness to David my father, and have made me king in his place.

Maintenant, Éternel Dieu, que ta promesse à David, mon père, s’accomplisse, puisque tu m’as fait régner sur un peuple nombreux comme la poussière de la terre!

Confírmese pues ahora, oh Jehová Dios, tu palabra dada á David mi padre; porque tú me has puesto por rey sobre un pueblo en muchedumbre como el polvo de la tierra.

Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

Accorde-moi donc de la sagesse et de l’intelligence, afin que je sache me conduire à la tête de ce peuple! Car qui pourrait juger ton peuple, ce peuple si grand?

Dame ahora sabiduría y ciencia, para salir y entrar delante de este pueblo: porque ¿quién podrá juzgar este tu pueblo tan grande?

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of yours?”

Dieu dit à Salomon: Puisque c’est là ce qui est dans ton cœur, puisque tu ne demandes ni des richesses, ni des biens, ni de la gloire, ni la mort de tes ennemis, ni même une longue vie, et que tu demandes pour toi de la sagesse et de l’intelligence afin de juger mon peuple sur lequel je t’ai fait régner,

Y dijo Dios á Salomón: Por cuanto esto fué en tu corazón, que no pediste riquezas, hacienda, ó gloria, ni el alma de los que te quieren mal, ni pediste muchos días, sino que has pedido para ti sabiduría y ciencia para juzgar mi pueblo, sobre el cual te he puesto por rey,

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

God said to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor yet have you asked for long life; but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king,

la sagesse et l’intelligence te sont accordées. Je te donnerai, en outre, des richesses, des biens et de la gloire, comme n’en a jamais eu aucun roi avant toi et comme n’en aura aucun après toi.

Sabiduría y ciencia te es dada; y también te daré riquezas, hacienda, y gloria, cual nunca hubo en los reyes que han sido antes de ti, ni después de ti habrá tal.

Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

therefore wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you, and none after you will have.”

Salomon revint à Jérusalem, après avoir quitté le haut lieu qui était à Gabaon et la tente d’assignation. Et il régna sur Israël.

Y volvió Salomón á Jerusalem del alto que estaba en Gabaón, de ante el tabernáculo del testimonio; y reinó sobre Israel.

Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.

Salomon rassembla des chars et de la cavalerie; il avait quatorze cents chars et douze mille cavaliers, qu’il plaça dans les villes où il tenait ses chars et à Jérusalem près du roi.

Y juntó Salomón carros y gente de á caballo; y tuvo mil y cuatrocientos carros, y doce mil jinetes, los cuales puso en las ciudades de los carros, y con el rey en Jerusalem.

And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

Le roi rendit l’argent et l’or aussi communs à Jérusalem que les pierres, et les cèdres aussi communs que les sycomores qui croissent dans la plaine.

Y puso el rey plata y oro en Jerusalem como piedras, y cedro como cabrahigos que nacen en los campos en abundancia.

And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.

The king made silver and gold to be as common as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars to be as common as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland.

C’était de l’Égypte que Salomon tirait ses chevaux; une caravane de marchands du roi allait les chercher par troupes à un prix fixe;

Y sacaban caballos y lienzos finos de Egipto para Salomón; pues por contrato tomaban allí los mercaderes del rey caballos y lienzos.

And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

The horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt and from Kue. The king’s merchants purchased them from Kue.

on faisait monter et sortir d’Égypte un char pour six cents sicles d’argent, et un cheval pour cent cinquante sicles. Ils en amenaient de même avec eux pour tous les rois des Héthiens et pour les rois de Syrie.

Y subían, y sacaban de Egipto, un carro por seiscientas piezas de plata, y un caballo por ciento y cincuenta: y así se sacaban por medio de ellos para todos los reyes de los Hetheos, y para los reyes de Siria.

And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.

They imported from Egypt then exported a chariot for six hundred pieces of silver and a horse for one hundred fifty. They also exported them to the Hittite kings and the Syrian kings.
