Salomão, filho do rei Davi, fortaleceu-se no seu reino, pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, estava com ele e fez dele um rei poderoso.

Y SALOMÓN hijo de David fué afirmado en su reino; y Jehová su Dios fué con él, y le engrandeció sobremanera.

And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.

O rei Salomão falou a todo o Israel: os líderes do exército de mil e de cem, os juízes, todos os líderes políticos de Israel e os chefes de famílias.

Y llamó Salomón á todo Israel, tribunos, centuriones, y jueces, y á todos los príncipes de todo Israel, cabezas de familias.

Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.

Salomão subiu com todos eles ao monte de Gibeom, onde estava o antigo Tabernáculo, que Moisés, servo do Senhor, construiu, enquanto ele esteve no deserto.

Y fué Salomón, y con él toda esta junta, al alto que había en Gabaón; porque allí estaba el tabernáculo del testimonio de Dios, que Moisés siervo de Jehová había hecho en el desierto.

So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.

Havia outro Tabernáculo em Jerusalém, construído pelo rei Davi para a arca de Deus, quando ele a levou de Quiriate-Jearim para lá.

Mas David había traído el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim al lugar que él le había preparado; porque él le había tendido una tienda en Jerusalem.

But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjath-jearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

O altar de bronze feito por Bezalel, filho de Uri e neto de Hur, ainda estava ali em frente do antigo Tabernáculo do Senhor, em Gibeom. Então Salomão e todos os que ele havia convidado se reuniram ali para consultarem o Senhor.

Asimismo el altar de bronce que había hecho Bezaleel hijo de Uri hijo de Hur, estaba allí delante del tabernáculo de Jehová, al cual fué á consultar Salomón con aquella junta.

Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.

Moreover the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was there before the LORD’s tabernacle; and Solomon and the assembly were seeking counsel there.

Salomão ofereceu ao Senhor mil sacrifícios queimados sobre o altar de bronze, no Tabernáculo.

Subió pues Salomón allá delante de Jehová, al altar de bronce que estaba en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y ofreció sobre él mil holocaustos.

And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.

Naquela noite Deus apareceu a Salomão e disse: “Peça o que quiser, e eu darei a você!”

Y aquella noche apareció Dios á Salomón, y díjole: Demanda lo que quisieres que yo te dé.

In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

That night, God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for what you want me to give you.”

Salomão respondeu: “Ó Deus, o Senhor foi tão bondoso com o meu pai Davi, e me colocou como rei em seu lugar.

Y Salomón dijo á Dios: Tú has hecho con David mi padre grande misericordia, y á mí me has puesto por rey en lugar suyo.

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

Solomon said to God, “You have shown great loving kindness to David my father, and have made me king in his place.

Agora, ó Senhor Deus, meu desejo é que o Senhor cumpra a promessa que fez a meu pai Davi, porque me fez rei sobre uma nação tão numerosa como o pó da terra!

Confírmese pues ahora, oh Jehová Dios, tu palabra dada á David mi padre; porque tú me has puesto por rey sobre un pueblo en muchedumbre como el polvo de la tierra.

Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

Now, LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established; for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

Peço que o Senhor me dê sabedoria e conhecimento para governar esse povo. Pois quem pode, sozinho, dirigir uma nação tão grande como esta?”

Dame ahora sabiduría y ciencia, para salir y entrar delante de este pueblo: porque ¿quién podrá juzgar este tu pueblo tan grande?

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

Deus respondeu: “Já que o seu maior desejo é ajudar o seu povo e, em vez de pedir tesouros, riqueza pessoal, honras, a destruição dos seus inimigos, ou vida longa, pediu sabedoria e conhecimento para dirigir bem o meu povo sobre o qual o coloquei como rei,

Y dijo Dios á Salomón: Por cuanto esto fué en tu corazón, que no pediste riquezas, hacienda, ó gloria, ni el alma de los que te quieren mal, ni pediste muchos días, sino que has pedido para ti sabiduría y ciencia para juzgar mi pueblo, sobre el cual te he puesto por rey,

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

God said to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor yet have you asked for long life; but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king,

eu vou dar a sabedoria e o conhecimento que você pediu! Mas também vou dar riquezas, bens e honra, como nenhum outro rei antes de você teve e nenhum outro terá depois de você!”

Sabiduría y ciencia te es dada; y también te daré riquezas, hacienda, y gloria, cual nunca hubo en los reyes que han sido antes de ti, ni después de ti habrá tal.

Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

therefore wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you, and none after you will have.”

Então Salomão deixou o Tabernáculo, desceu do monte Gibeom e voltou a Jerusalém para governar Israel.

Y volvió Salomón á Jerusalem del alto que estaba en Gabaón, de ante el tabernáculo del testimonio; y reinó sobre Israel.

Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.

Ele formou um exército de mil e quatrocentos carros e doze mil cavaleiros, para guardar as cidades, bem como para ficar perto dele, em Jerusalém.

Y juntó Salomón carros y gente de á caballo; y tuvo mil y cuatrocientos carros, y doce mil jinetes, los cuales puso en las ciudades de los carros, y con el rey en Jerusalem.

And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

Durante o reinado de Salomão, havia tanta prata e tanto ouro em Jerusalém que se tornaram comuns como as pedras na estrada, e a madeira de cedro, tão numerosa como os sicômoros da Sefelá!

Y puso el rey plata y oro en Jerusalem como piedras, y cedro como cabrahigos que nacen en los campos en abundancia.

And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.

The king made silver and gold to be as common as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars to be as common as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland.

Salomão enviou negociantes de cavalos ao Egito e à Cilícia, para comprarem grandes quantidades de cavalos.

Y sacaban caballos y lienzos finos de Egipto para Salomón; pues por contrato tomaban allí los mercaderes del rey caballos y lienzos.

And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

The horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt and from Kue. The king’s merchants purchased them from Kue.

Naquele tempo os carros egípcios eram vendidos por sete quilos e duzentos gramas de prata cada um, e cada cavalo custava um quilo e oitocentos gramas de prata. Muitos desses carros e desses cavalos eram vendidos depois aos reis dos heteus e aos reis da Síria.

Y subían, y sacaban de Egipto, un carro por seiscientas piezas de plata, y un caballo por ciento y cincuenta: y así se sacaban por medio de ellos para todos los reyes de los Hetheos, y para los reyes de Siria.

And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.

They imported from Egypt then exported a chariot for six hundred pieces of silver and a horse for one hundred fifty. They also exported them to the Hittite kings and the Syrian kings.
