Josafat se asustó, pero decidió buscar la ayuda del Señor, y le pidió al pueblo de Judá que ayunara.

Entonces él tuvo temor; y puso Josaphat su rostro para consultar á Jehová, é hizo pregonar ayuno á todo Judá.
