Und er wandelte auf dem Weg der Könige von Israel, wie das Haus Ahabs getan hatte, denn er hatte eine Tochter Ahabs zur Frau; und er tat, was böse war in den Augen des HERRN.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD.

He walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did Ahab’s house, for he had Ahab’s daughter as his wife. He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight.
