Les habitants de Jérusalem firent régner à sa place Achazia, son plus jeune fils; car la troupe venue au camp avec les Arabes avait tué tous les plus âgés. Ainsi régna Achazia, fils de Joram, roi de Juda.

Y LOS moradores de Jerusalem hicieron rey en lugar suyo á Ochôzías su hijo menor: porque la tropa que había venido con los Arabes al campo, había muerto á todos los mayores; por lo cual reinó Ochôzías, hijo de Joram rey de Judá.

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

Achazia avait quarante-deux ans lorsqu’il devint roi, et il régna un an à Jérusalem. Sa mère s’appelait Athalie, fille d’Omri.

Cuando Ochôzías comenzó á reinar era de cuarenta y dos años, y reinó un año en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Athalía, hija de Omri.

Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

Il marcha dans les voies de la maison d’Achab, car sa mère lui donnait des conseils impies.

También él anduvo en los caminos de la casa de Achâb: porque su madre le aconsejaba á obrar impíamente.

He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.

Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel, comme la maison d’Achab, où il eut après la mort de son père des conseillers pour sa perte.

Hizo pues lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como la casa de Achâb; porque después de la muerte de su padre, ellos le aconsejaron para su perdición.

Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

Entraîné par leur conseil, il alla avec Joram, fils d’Achab, roi d’Israël, à la guerre contre Hazaël, roi de Syrie, à Ramoth en Galaad. Et les Syriens blessèrent Joram.

Y él anduvo en los consejos de ellos, y fué á la guerra con Joram hijo de Achâb, rey de Israel, contra Hazael rey de Siria, á Ramoth de Galaad, donde los Siros hirieron á Joram.

He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.

Joram s’en retourna pour se faire guérir à Jizreel des blessures que les Syriens lui avaient faites à Rama, lorsqu’il se battait contre Hazaël, roi de Syrie. Azaria, fils de Joram, roi de Juda, descendit pour voir Joram, fils d’Achab, à Jizreel, parce qu’il était malade.

Y se volvió para curarse en Jezreel de las heridas que le habían hecho en Rama, peleando con Hazael rey de Siria. Y descendió Azarías hijo de Joram, rey de Judá, á visitar á Joram hijo de Achâb, en Jezreel, porque allí estaba enfermo.

And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

Par la volonté de Dieu, ce fut pour sa ruine qu’Achazia se rendit auprès de Joram. Lorsqu’il fut arrivé, il sortit avec Joram pour aller au-devant de Jéhu, fils de Nimschi, que l’Éternel avait oint pour exterminer la maison d’Achab.

Esto empero venía de Dios, para que Ochôzías fuese hollado viniendo á Joram: porque siendo venido, salió con Joram contra Jehú hijo de Nimsi, al cual Jehová había ungido para que talase la casa de Achâb.

And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.

Now the destruction of Ahaziah was of God, in that he went to Joram; for when he had come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off Ahab’s house.

Et comme Jéhu faisait justice de la maison d’Achab, il trouva les chefs de Juda et les fils des frères d’Achazia, qui étaient au service d’Achazia, et il les tua.

Y fué que, haciendo juicio Jehú con la casa de Achâb, halló á los príncipes de Judá, y á los hijos de los hermanos de Ochôzías, que servían á Ochôzías, y matólos.

And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.

When Jehu was executing judgment on Ahab’s house, he found the princes of Judah and the sons of the brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah, and killed them.

Il chercha Achazia, et on le saisit dans Samarie, où il s’était caché. On l’amena auprès de Jéhu, et on le fit mourir. Puis ils l’enterrèrent, car ils disaient: C’est le fils de Josaphat, qui cherchait l’Éternel de tout son cœur. Et il ne resta personne de la maison d’Achazia qui fût en état de régner.

Y buscando á Ochôzías, el cual se había escondido en Samaria, tomáronlo, y trajéronlo á Jehú, y le mataron; y diéronle sepultura, porque dijeron: Es hijo de Josaphat, el cual buscó á Jehová de todo su corazón. Y la casa de Ochôzías no tenía fuerzas para poder retener el reino.

And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

He sought Ahaziah, and they caught him (now he was hiding in Samaria), and they brought him to Jehu and killed him; and they buried him, for they said, “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” The house of Ahaziah had no power to hold the kingdom.

Athalie, mère d’Achazia, voyant que son fils était mort, se leva et fit périr toute la race royale de la maison de Juda.

Entonces Athalía madre de Ochôzías, viendo que su hijo era muerto, levantóse y destruyó toda la simiente real de la casa de Judá.

But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.

Mais Joschabeath, fille du roi, prit Joas, fils d’Achazia, et l’enleva du milieu des fils du roi, quand on les fit mourir: elle le mit avec sa nourrice dans la chambre des lits. Ainsi Joschabeath, fille du roi Joram, femme du sacrificateur Jehojada, et sœur d’Achazia, le déroba aux regards d’Athalie, qui ne le fit point mourir.

Empero Josabeth, hija del rey, tomó á Joas hijo de Ochôzías, y arrebatólo de entre los hijos del rey, que mataban, y guardóle á él y á su ama en la cámara de los lechos. Así pues lo escondió Josabeth, hija del rey Joram, mujer de Joiada el sacerdote, (porque ella era hermana de Ochôzías), de delante de Athalía, y no lo mataron.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

But Jehoshabeath, the king’s daughter, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stealthily rescued him from among the king’s sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she didn’t kill him.

Il resta six ans caché avec eux dans la maison de Dieu. Et c’était Athalie qui régnait dans le pays.

Y estuvo con ellos escondido en la casa de Dios seis años. Entre tanto Athalía reinaba en el país.

And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.
