2Estos hombres viajaron secretamente por todo el país, reunieron a los levitas de todas las ciudades de Judá y a los jefes de los clanes, y vinieron a Jerusalén. A su llegada juraron lealtad al joven rey, que aún estaba escondido en el templo. «Por fin ha llegado el momento en que el rey asuma el reino —exclamó Joyadá—. La promesa del Señor, de que un descendiente de David sería nuestro rey, nuevamente se cumplirá, pues miren, ¡aquí está el hijo del rey Ocozías!
