2 Crónicas 23

Dans la huitième année, Joad se fortifia, il prit avec lui dans le temple du Seigneur les centeniers Azarias, fils de Joram ; Ismaël, fils de Johanan ; Azarias, fils d'Obed ; Maaseas, fils d'Adia, et Elisaphan, fils de Zacharie.

MAS el séptimo año se animó Joiada, y tomó consigo en alianza á los centuriones, Azarías hijo de Jeroam, y á Ismael hijo de Johanán, y á Azarías hijo de Obed, y á Maasías hijo de Adaías, y á Elisaphat hijo de Zichri;

And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.

Ceux-ci parcoururent Juda, rassemblèrent les lévites de toutes les villes de Juda et les chefs de familles d'Israël, et rentrèrent à Jérusalem.

Et dans le temple du Seigneur toute l'Église de Juda fit alliance avec le roi, et Joad leur montra le fils du roi, et il leur dit : Voilà le fils du roi : qu'il règne, selon la parole du Seigneur concernant la maison de David.

Y toda la multitud hizo alianza con el rey en la casa de Dios. Y él les dijo: He aquí el hijo del rey, el cual reinará, como Jehová lo tiene dicho de los hijos de David.

And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said unto them, Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of David.

Écoutez donc ce que vous avez à faire : Que le tiers des prêtres et des lévites commence son service de semaine et garde les portes d'entrée,

Lo que habéis de hacer es: la tercera parte de vosotros, los que entran de semana, estarán de porteros con los sacerdotes y los Levitas;

This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the doors;

Que l'on place un autre tiers au palais du roi, le dernier tiers à la porte du milieu, et tout le peuple dans les parvis du temple.

Que nul ne pénètre dans le temple hormis les prêtres, les lévites et ceux qui les servent. Ceux-là entreront parce qu'ils sont saints, et tout le peuple fera la garde sainte autour du temple du Seigneur.

And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.

Les lévites et tout Juda se conformèrent aux ordres de Joad, et ceux qui sortaient de semaine restèrent avec ceux qui entraient en semaine, parce que le grand prêtre ne congédia point ceux dont le service finissait.

Y los Levitas y todo Judá lo hicieron todo como lo había mandado el sacerdote Joiada: y tomó cada uno los suyos, los que entraban de semana, y los que salían el sábado: porque el sacerdote Joiada no dió licencia á las compañías.

So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.

Et Joad leur délivra les glaives, les boucliers et les armures du roi David, qui étaient dans le temple de Dieu.

Entonces Athalía rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¡Conjuración, conjuración!

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.

Et Joad s'avança pour donner ses ordres aux centeniers et aux chefs de l'armée, et il leur dit : Jetez-la hors du temple, suivez-la, qu'elle périsse par le glaive ; et le prêtre ajouta : Qu'elle ne meure pas dans le temple du Seigneur.

Y sacando el pontífice Joiada los centuriones y capitanes del ejército, díjoles: Sacadla fuera del recinto; y el que la siguiere, muera á cuchillo: porque el sacerdote había mandado que no la matasen en la casa de Jehová.

So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew her there.

Et Joad fit alliance avec le roi et avec le peuple, pour que Juda fût le peuple de Dieu.

Et Joad remit aux prêtres et aux lévites le service du temple de Dieu, rétablit l'ordre des temps où ils devaient être employés, comme l'avait prescrit David, tant pour la garde du temple que pour les offrandes d'holocaustes, selon qu'il est écrit en la loi de Moïse, en y ajoutant les réjouissances et les chants institués par David.

Luego ordenó Joiada los oficios en la casa de Jehová bajo la mano de los sacerdotes y Levitas, según David los había distribuído en la casa de Jehová, para ofrecer á Jehová los holocaustos, como está escrito en la ley de Moisés, con gozo y cantares, conforme á la ordenación de David.

And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain Athaliah with the sword.
