2 Crónicas 23

La septième année, Joïada prit courage et s’attacha par un pacte les centeniers Azaria, fils de Yeroham, Ismaël, fils de Johanan, Azariahou, fils d’Obed, Maassêyahou, fils d’Adaïahou, et Elichafat, fils de Zikhri.

MAS el séptimo año se animó Joiada, y tomó consigo en alianza á los centuriones, Azarías hijo de Jeroam, y á Ismael hijo de Johanán, y á Azarías hijo de Obed, y á Maasías hijo de Adaías, y á Elisaphat hijo de Zichri;

And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.

Ceux-ci parcoururent Juda en tout sens et rassemblèrent, de toutes les villes de Juda, les Lévites et les chefs de famille d’Israël, qui se rendirent à Jérusalem.

Los cuales rodeando por Judá, juntaron los Levitas de todas las ciudades de Judá, y á los príncipes de las familias de Israel, y vinieron á Jerusalem.

Toute cette assemblée conclut un accord avec le roi dans la maison de Dieu, et †Joïada leur dit: "Voici le fils du roi; il doit régner, selon la promesse faite par l’Eternel au sujet des descendants de David.

C’est ainsi que vous procéderez: un tiers d’entre vous, de ceux qui prennent la semaine en qualité de prêtres et de Lévites, gardera les entrées,

Lo que habéis de hacer es: la tercera parte de vosotros, los que entran de semana, estarán de porteros con los sacerdotes y los Levitas;

un tiers †surveillera la maison du roi, et un tiers, la porte de Yessod; et tout le peuple restera dans les cours de la maison de l’Eternel.

And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.

Les Lévites et tout Juda exécutèrent fidèlement les ordres donnés par Joïada, le prêtre; ils prirent chacun leurs hommes, ceux qui commençaient et ceux qui avaient fini la semaine, car Joïada, le prêtre, n’avait pas congédié les sections.

Y los Levitas y todo Judá lo hicieron todo como lo había mandado el sacerdote Joiada: y tomó cada uno los suyos, los que entraban de semana, y los que salían el sábado: porque el sacerdote Joiada no dió licencia á las compañías.

So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.

Le prêtre Joïada délivra aux centeniers les lances, les boucliers et autres armes ayant appartenu au roi David et déposées dans le temple de Dieu,

Athalie, entendant les cris du peuple qui accourait et acclamait le roi, se rendit au milieu de la foule dans le temple de l’Eternel.

A cette vue, Athalie déchira ses vêtements et s’écria: "Trahison, trahison!"

Entonces Athalía rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¡Conjuración, conjuración!

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.

Le prêtre Joïada fit avancer les centeniers qui commandaient les troupes et leur dit: "Faites-la sortir des rangs, et qui la suivra, qu’on l’exécute avec le glaive!" Car le pontife avait recommandé qu’elle ne fût pas mise à mort dans la maison de l’Eternel.

So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew her there.

Joïada conclut un pacte l’engageant lui, tout le peuple et le roi, à devenir le peuple de l’Eternel.

Le pontife plaça des surveillants dans la maison de l’Eternel, sous la direction des prêtres et des Lévites que David avait répartis en sections dans le temple du Seigneur, avec mission d’offrir les holocaustes à l’Eternel, conformément aux prescriptions de la Loi de Moïse, avec des manifestations de joie et des chants, selon le mode établi par David.

Luego ordenó Joiada los oficios en la casa de Jehová bajo la mano de los sacerdotes y Levitas, según David los había distribuído en la casa de Jehová, para ofrecer á Jehová los holocaustos, como está escrito en la ley de Moisés, con gozo y cantares, conforme á la ordenación de David.

Tous les habitants du pays furent heureux, et la ville retrouva le calme. Quant à Athalie, on l’avait fait mourir par le glaive.

Y todo el pueblo del país hizo alegrías: y la ciudad estuvo quieta, muerto que hubieron á Athalía á cuchillo.

And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain Athaliah with the sword.
