2 Crónicas 24

Entonces el rey Joás no tuvo en cuenta lo bueno que había sido su padre Joiada, sino que mató a su hijo Zacarías, Y en la hora de su muerte, dijo: ¡Que el Señor lo vea y reciba el pago!

No tuvo pues memoria el rey Joas de la misericordia que su padre Joiada había hecho con él, antes matóle su hijo; el cual dijo al morir: Jehová lo vea, y lo requiera.

Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.

Thus Joash the king didn’t remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son. When he died, he said, “May the LORD look at it, and repay it.”
