24Car l’armée de Syrie vint avec un petit nombre d’hommes, et l’Éternel livra en leurs mains une très grande armée, parce qu’ils avaient abandonné l’Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères. Ainsi [les Syriens] firent justice de Joas.
