7(Los seguidores de la impía Atalía habían destruido el templo, y todo lo que había sido dedicado al culto del Señor fue usado para el culto a Baal). El rey ordenó que se hiciera una caja y que se pusiera junto a la puerta del templo.

7Porque la impía Athalía y sus hijos habían destruído la casa de Dios, y además habían gastado en los ídolos todas las cosas consagradas á la casa de Jehová.

7For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.
