17Después de consultar a sus consejeros, Amasías, rey de Judá, le envió un desafío a Joás hijo de Joacaz y nieto de Jehú, rey de Israel. El mensaje decía: “¡Sal a pelear, vamos a vernos las caras!”

17Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.
