Então Amazias, rei de Judá, ouviu o que os seus conselheiros tinham a dizer e declarou guerra a Jeoás, filho de Jeoacaz e neto de Jeú, rei de Israel, com o seguinte desafio: “Vem enfrentar-me face a face”.

Y Amasías rey de Judá, habido su consejo, envió á decir á Joas, hijo de Joachâz hijo de Jehú, rey de Israel: Ven, y veámonos cara á cara.

Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

Then Amaziah king of Judah consulted his advisers, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, “Come! Let’s look one another in the face.”
