Então veio da parte de Deus um profeta com esta mensagem: “Ó rei, não contrate soldados de Israel, pois o Senhor não está com Israel; ele não está com ninguém do povo de Efraim.

Mas un varón de Dios vino á él, diciéndole: Rey, no vaya contigo el ejército de Israel; porque Jehová no es con Israel, ni con todos los hijos de Ephraim.

But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim.

A man of God came to him, saying, “O king, don’t let the army of Israel go with you, for the LORD is not with Israel, with all the children of Ephraim.
