15En Jerusalén, mandó a fabricar máquinas de guerra inventadas por expertos, y las colocó en las torres y en las esquinas de las murallas para disparar flechas y lanzar piedras muy pesadas. Su fama se extendió por todas partes, pues recibió una ayuda maravillosa hasta hacerse sumamente poderoso.

15E hizo en Jerusalem máquinas por industria de ingenieros, para que estuviesen en las torres y en los baluartes, para arrojar saetas y grandes piedras, y su fama se extendió lejos, porque se ayudó maravillosamente, hasta hacerse fuerte.
