15También fabricó máquinas de guerra hábilmente diseñadas para disparar flechas y grandes piedras desde las torres y las esquinas de la muralla. Su fama se extendió por todas partes, pues recibió una ayuda extraordinaria hasta que llegó a ser realmente poderoso.

15E hizo en Jerusalem máquinas por industria de ingenieros, para que estuviesen en las torres y en los baluartes, para arrojar saetas y grandes piedras, y su fama se extendió lejos, porque se ayudó maravillosamente, hasta hacerse fuerte.

15And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.
