Jotão morreu e foi enterrado com os seus antepassados na Cidade de Davi. E seu filho Acaz se tornou o novo rei.

Y durmió Joatham con sus padres, y sepultáronlo en la ciudad de David; y reinó en su lugar Achâz su hijo.

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
