2 Crónicas 28

Porque Acaz tomó parte de las riquezas de la casa del Señor y de la casa del rey y de los grandes hombres, y se la dio al rey de Asiria; Pero no le sirvió de nada.

Aunque despojó Achâz la casa de Jehová, y la casa real, y las de los príncipes, para dar al rey de los Asirios, con todo eso él no le ayudó.

For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.
