Car Achaz dépouilla la maison de l’Éternel, la maison du roi et celle des principaux du peuple, pour faire des présents au roi d’Assyrie, mais sans en retirer secours.

Aunque despojó Achâz la casa de Jehová, y la casa real, y las de los príncipes, para dar al rey de los Asirios, con todo eso él no le ayudó.

For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.
