1Entonces Ezequías envió un mensaje a todo Israel y a Judá, y envió cartas a Efraín y Manasés, invitándolos que vinieran a la casa del Señor en Jerusalén para celebrar la Pascua al Señor, el Dios de Israel.
2Porque el rey, después de una discusión con sus jefes y todo el cuerpo del pueblo en Jerusalén, había tomado la decisión de celebrar la Pascua en el segundo mes.
3No era posible mantenerlo en ese momento, porque no había suficientes sacerdotes que se hubieran purificado, y la gente no se había reunido en Jerusalén.
4Y la cosa estaba bien ante los ojos del rey y de todo el pueblo.
5Así que se ordenó que la palabra fuera enviada a través de todo Israel, desde Beerseba hasta Dan, para que vinieran a guardar la Pascua al Señor, el Dios de Israel, en Jerusalén; porque muchos no lo tenían en práctica de acuerdo con la ley.
6Y los mensajeros fueron con cartas del rey y sus jefes por todo Israel y Judá, por orden del rey, diciendo: Oh hijos de Israel, regresa de nuevo al Señor, el Dios de Abraham, Isaac e Israel, para que pueda volver a esa pequeña banda tuya que se ha mantenido a salvo de las manos de los reyes de Asiria.
7No seas como sus padres y sus hermanos, que fueron pecadores contra el Señor, el Dios de sus padres, de modo que Él los envió a la desolación , como pueden ver.
8Ahora, no seas de corazón duro, como lo fueron tus padres; sino entrégate al Señor, y entra en su lugar santo, que él ha hecho suyo para siempre, y sean siervos del Señor tu Dios, para que el calor de su ira se aleje de ustedes.
9Porque si regresas al Señor, los que se llevaron a tus hermanos y a tus hijos tendrán compasión delante de los que los llevaron cautivos, y volverán a está tierra; porque el Señor tu Dios está lleno de gracia y de misericordia, y su rostro no se apartará de ustedes si vuelven a él.
10Así que los corredores fueron de ciudad en ciudad a través de todo el país de Efraín y Manasés hasta Zabulón, pero la gente se reía y se burlaban de ellos.
11Sin embargo, algunos de Aser y Manasés y Zabulón se humillaron ante Dios y acudieron a Jerusalén.
12Y en Judá, el poder de Dios les dio un solo corazón para cumplir las órdenes del rey y los capitanes, conforme a la palabra del Señor.
13Entonces, un gran número de personas se reunieron en Jerusalén para celebrar la fiesta del pan sin levadura en el segundo mes.
14Y se pusieron a trabajar y se llevaron todos los altares de Jerusalén, y los echaron todas las vasijas para quemar incienso en él arroyo de Cedrón.
15Y a los catorce días del segundo mes mataron a los corderos de la Pascua; y los sacerdotes y los levitas se avergonzaron, se purificaron y llevaron ofrendas quemadas a la casa del Señor.
16Y tomaron sus lugares en el orden correcto, como estaba ordenado en la ley de Moisés, el hombre de Dios; los sacerdotes rociaban sobre el altar la sangre que les dieron los levitas.
17Porque todavía había un número de personas que no se habían purificado; así los levitas tuvieron que dar muerte a los corderos de la Pascua por aquellos que no estaban purificados, y consagrarlos para el Señor.
18Para un gran número de personas de Efraín y Manasés, Isacar y Zabulón, no se habían purificado, pero tomaron la comida de la Pascua, aunque no de la manera correcta. Pero Ezequías había orado por ellos, diciendo: Que el buen Señor tenga misericordia de todos aquellos que de corazón sincero lo buscan,
19Que con todo su corazón se dirige a Dios el Señor, el Dios de sus antepasados, aunque no hayan sido purificados según las reglas del santuario.
20Y él Señor oyó a Ezequías, y sanó a la gente.
21Entonces los hijos de Israel que estaban presentes en Jerusalén celebraron la fiesta del pan sin levadura durante siete días con gran gozo: y los levitas y los sacerdotes alababan al Señor día tras día, haciendo la melodía con instrumentos al Señor y con voz fuerte.
22Entonces Ezequías dijo palabras amables a los levitas que eran expertos en la ministración de la adoración al Señor: así celebraron la fiesta durante siete días, ofreciendo ofrendas de paz y alabando al Señor, el Dios de sus antepasados.
23Y por el deseo de todo el pueblo, la fiesta duró otros siete días, y guardaron los siete días con alegría.
24Porque Ezequías, rey de Judá, dio al pueblo por ofrendas, mil bueyes y siete mil ovejas; y los príncipes dieron mil bueyes y diez mil ovejas; y muchos sacerdotes se purificaron.
25Y todo el pueblo de Judá, con los sacerdotes y los levitas, y los que habían venido de Israel, y los hombres extranjeros que habían venido de Israel o que vivían en Judá, se alegraron con gran alegría.
26Y hubo gran gozo en Jerusalén: porque nada como esto había sido visto en Jerusalén desde el tiempo de Salomón, el hijo de David, rey de Israel.
27Entonces los sacerdotes y los levitas dieron a las personas una bendición; y la voz de su oración subió al lugar santo de Dios en el cielo.

1ENVIÓ también Ezechîas por todo Israel y Judá, y escribió letras á Ephraim y Manasés, que viniesen á Jerusalem á la casa de Jehová, para celebrar la pascua á Jehová Dios de Israel.
2Y había el rey tomado consejo con sus príncipes, y con toda la congregación en Jerusalem, para celebrar la pascua en el mes segundo:
3Porque entonces no la podían celebrar, por cuanto no había suficientes sacerdotes santificados, ni el pueblo estaba junto en Jerusalem.
4Esto agradó al rey y á toda la multitud.
5Y determinaron hacer pasar pregón por todo Israel, desde Beer-seba hasta Dan, para que viniesen á celebrar la pascua á Jehová Dios de Israel, en Jerusalem: porque en mucho tiempo no la habían celebrado al modo que está escrito.
6Fueron pues correos con letras de mano del rey y de sus príncipes por todo Israel y Judá, como el rey lo había mandado, y decían: Hijos de Israel, volveos á Jehová el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, y él se volverá á las reliquias que os han quedado de la mano de los reyes de Asiria.
7No seáis como vuestros padres y como vuestros hermanos, que se rebelaron contra Jehová el Dios de sus padres, y él los entregó á desolación, como vosotros veis.
8No endurezcáis pues ahora vuestra cerviz como vuestros padres: dad la mano á Jehová, y venid á su santuario, el cual él ha santificado para siempre; y servid á Jehová vuestro Dios, y la ira de su furor se apartará de vosotros.
9Porque si os volviereis á Jehová, vuestros hermanos y vuestros hijos hallarán misericordia delante de los que los tienen cautivos, y volverán á esta tierra: porque Jehová vuestro Dios es clemente y misericordioso, y no volverá de vosotros su rostro, si vosotros os volviereis á él.
10Pasaron pues los correos de ciudad en ciudad por la tierra de Ephraim y Manasés, hasta Zabulón: mas se reían y burlaban de ellos.
11Con todo eso, algunos hombres de Aser, de Manasés, y de Zabulón, se humillaron, y vinieron á Jerusalem.
12En Judá también fué la mano de Dios para darles un corazón para cumplir el mensaje del rey y de los príncipes, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.
13Y juntóse en Jerusalem mucha gente para celebrar la solemnidad de los ázimos en el mes segundo; una vasta reunión.
14Y levantándose, quitaron los altares que había en Jerusalem; quitaron también todos los altares de perfumes, y echáronlos en el torrente de Cedrón.
15Entonces sacrificaron la pascua, á los catorce del mes segundo; y los sacerdotes y los Levitas se santificaron con vergüenza, y trajeron los holocaustos á la casa de Jehová.
16Y pusiéronse en su orden conforme á su costumbre, conforme á la ley de Moisés varón de Dios; los sacerdotes esparcían la sangre que recibían de manos de los Levitas:
17Porque había muchos en la congregación que no estaban santificados, y por eso los Levitas sacrificaban la pascua por todos los que no se habían limpiado, para santificarlos á Jehová.
18Porque una gran multitud del pueblo de Ephraim y Manasés, y de Issachâr y Zabulón, no se habían purificado, y comieron la pascua no conforme á lo que está escrito. Mas Ezechîas oró por ellos, diciendo: Jehová, que es bueno, sea propicio á todo aquel que ha apercibido su corazón para buscar á Dios,
19A Jehová el Dios de sus padres, aunque no esté purificado según la purificación del santuario.
20Y oyó Jehová á Ezechîas, y sanó al pueblo.
21Así celebraron los hijos de Israel que se hallaron en Jerusalem, la solemnidad de los panes sin levadura por siete días con grande gozo: y alababan á Jehová todos los días los Levitas y los sacerdotes, cantando con instrumentos de fortaleza á Jehová.
22Y habló Ezechîas al corazón de todos los Levitas que tenían buena inteligencia en el servicio de Jehová. Y comieron de lo sacrificado en la solemnidad por siete días, ofreciendo sacrificios pacíficos, y dando gracias á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
23Y toda aquella multitud determinó que celebrasen otros siete días; y celebraron otros siete días con alegría.
24Porque Ezechîas rey de Judá había dado á la multitud mil novillos y siete mil ovejas; y también los príncipes dieron al pueblo mil novillos y diez mil ovejas: y muchos sacerdotes se santificaron.
25Alegróse pues toda la congregación de Judá, como también los sacerdotes y Levitas, y toda la multitud que había venido de Israel; asimismo los extranjeros que habían venido de la tierra de Israel, y los que habitaban en Judá.
26E hiciéronse grandes alegrías en Jerusalem: porque desde los días de Salomón hijo de David rey de Israel, no había habido cosa tal en Jerusalem.
27Levantándose después los sacerdotes y Levitas, bendijeron al pueblo: y la voz de ellos fué oída, y su oración llegó á la habitación de su santuario, al cielo.

1And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
2For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
3For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
4And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.
5So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
6So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
8Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
9For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
10So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
11Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
12Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
13And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
14And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
15Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.
16And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
17For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
18For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
19That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
20And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.
22And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
23And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
24For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
26So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
27Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

1Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the LORD’s house at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel.
2For the king had taken counsel with his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.
3For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, and the people had not gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
4The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.

22Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of the LORD. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings and making confession to the LORD, the God of their fathers.
23The whole assembly took counsel to keep another seven days, and they kept another seven days with gladness.
24For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
26So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was nothing like this in Jerusalem.
27Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people. Their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
