O povo respondeu sem demora e de maneira generosa, trazendo os primeiros frutos de suas colheitas de cereais, do vinho novo, do azeite de oliva, do mel e tudo mais que os campos produziam. Trouxeram o dízimo de tudo que possuíam, e era uma grande quantidade.
Y como este edicto fué divulgado, los hijos de Israel dieron muchas primicias de grano, vino, aceite, miel, y de todos los frutos de la tierra: trajeron asimismo los diezmos de todas las cosas en abundancia.
And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
