1Después de todo esto y de ver la fidelidad de Ezequías, el rey Senaquerib de Asiria invadió Judá. Acampó frente a las ciudades fortificadas y dio la orden de atacarlas y conquistarlas.

1DESPUÉS de estas cosas y de esta fidelidad, vino Sennachêrib rey de los Asirios, entró en Judá, y asentó campo contra las ciudades fuertes, y determinó de entrar en ellas.

1After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
