21E il Signore mandò un Angelo, il quale distrusse ogni valente uomo, ed ogni capo e capitano ch'era nel campo del re degli Assiri; laonde egli se ne ritornò svergognato al suo paese. Ed essendo entrato nella casa de' suoi dii, di quelli che erano usciti delle sue interiora, l'uccisero quivi con la spada.

21Y Jehová envió un ángel, el cual hirió á todo valiente y esforzado, y á los jefes y capitanes en el campo del rey de Asiria. Volvióse por tanto con vergüenza de rostro á su tierra; y entrando en el templo de su dios, allí lo mataron á cuchillo los que habían salido de sus entrañas.

21And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
