Pero Ezequías no correspondió al bien que recibió. Más bien su corazón se enalteció, y la ira de Yavé llegó sobre él, sobre Judá y Jerusalén.

Mas Ezechîas no pagó conforme al bien que le había sido hecho: antes se enalteció su corazón, y fué la ira contra él, y contra Judá y Jerusalem.

But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.

But Hezekiah didn’t reciprocate appropriate to the benefit done for him, because his heart was lifted up. Therefore there was wrath on him, Judah, and Jerusalem.
