Ele fez o que era mau à vista de Yahweh, como Manassés, seu pai, havia feito. Amom sacrificou a todas as imagens esculpidas que Manassés seu pai havia feito e as adorou.

Mas nunca se humilló delante de Jehová, como se humilló Manasés su padre: antes aumentó el pecado.
