3E l'anno ottavo del suo regno, essendo egli ancora giovanetto, cominciò a ricercar l'Iddio di Davide, suo padre; e l'anno duodecimo cominciò a nettar Giuda e Gerusalemme degli alti luoghi, e de' boschi, e delle sculture, e delle statue di getto.
