DOPO tutte queste cose, quando Giosia ebbe ristabilito l'ordine della Casa del Signore, Neco, re di Egitto, salì per far guerra in Carchemis, in su l'Eufrate; e Giosia gli andò incontro.

Después de todas estas cosas, luego de haber Josías preparado la casa, Nechâo rey de Egipto subió á hacer guerra en Carchêmis junto á Eufrates; y salió Josías contra él.
