Se rebeló contra Nabucodonosor, aun cuando le había jurado lealtad. Sedequías era un hombre terco y orgulloso; por eso, no quiso volverse al Señor, Dios de Israel.

Rebelóse asimismo contra Nabucodonosor, al cual había jurado por Dios; y endureció su cerviz, y obstinó su corazón, para no volverse á Jehová el Dios de Israel.

And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
