Se volvió indómito y obstinó su corazón para no regresar a Yavé, el ʼElohim de Israel.

Rebelóse asimismo contra Nabucodonosor, al cual había jurado por Dios; y endureció su cerviz, y obstinó su corazón, para no volverse á Jehová el Dios de Israel.
