E il re de' Caldei menò in cattività in Babilonia quelli ch'erano scampati dalla spada; e furono servi a lui ed a' suoi figliuoli, finchè il regno di Persia ottenne l'imperio;

Los que quedaron del cuchillo, pasáronlos á Babilonia; y fueron siervos de él y de sus hijos, hasta que vino el reino de los Persas;

And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
