E Nebucadnetsar menò in cattività a Babilonia quelli ch’erano scampati dalla spada; ed essi furono assoggettati a lui ed ai suoi figliuoli, fino all’avvento del regno di Persia

Los que quedaron del cuchillo, pasáronlos á Babilonia; y fueron siervos de él y de sus hijos, hasta que vino el reino de los Persas;

And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
