1Salomón comenzó a construir el Templo de Yahvé en Jerusalén, en el monte Moriah, donde Yahvé se le había aparecido a su padre David. Lo construyó en el lugar que David había preparado en el terreno de Ornán el jebuseo.

1Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
