Lorsque Salomon eut terminé sa prière, le feu descendit du ciel, consuma l’holocauste et les †autres sacrifices, et la gloire de l’Eternel remplit la maison.

Y COMO Salomón acabó de orar, el fuego descendió de los cielos, y consumió el holocausto y las víctimas; y la gloria de Jehová hinchió la casa.

Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

Les prêtres ne purent entrer dans la maison du Seigneur, parce que la majesté divine remplissait cette maison du Seigneur.

Y no podían entrar los sacerdotes en la casa de Jehová, porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.

Tous les enfants d’Israël, à la vue du feu descendu du ciel et de la gloire de l’Eternel reposant sur la maison, se mirent à genoux sur les dalles, la face contre terre, se prosternèrent et rendirent hommage au Seigneur, †en chantant: "Car il est bon, car sa grâce est éternelle!"

Y como vieron todos los hijos de Israel descender el fuego y la gloria de Jehová sobre la casa, cayeron en tierra sobre sus rostros en el pavimento, y adoraron, confesando á Jehová y diciendo: Que es bueno, que su misericordia es para siempre.

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the LORD’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!”

Le roi Salomon et tout le peuple offrirent des sacrifices devant le Seigneur.

Quant aux sacrifices qu’immola le roi Salomon, ils consistèrent en vingt-deux mille taureaux et cent vingt mille brebis. Ainsi fut inaugurée la maison de Dieu par le roi et tout le peuple.

Les prêtres se tenaient à leur poste ainsi que les Lévites, qui étaient munis des instruments de musique sacrée, créés par le roi David, et rendaient hommage au Seigneur, †en chantant: "Car sa grâce est éternelle!" d’après le cantique de David confié à leurs soins. Les prêtres sonnaient de la trompette en face d’eux, et tous les Israélites étaient debout.

Y los sacerdotes asistían en su ministerio; y los Levitas con los instrumentos de música de Jehová, los cuales había hecho el rey David para confesar á Jehová, que su misericordia es para siempre; cuando David alababa por mano de ellos. Asimismo los sacerdotes tañían trompetas delante de ellos, y todo Israel estaba en pie.

And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

Salomon consacra l’intérieur du parvis, qui s’étend devant la maison du Seigneur, pour qu’on pût y offrir les holocaustes et les parties grasses des rémunératoires; car l’autel de cuivre construit par Salomon ne pouvait contenir à la fois holocaustes, oblations et graisses.

También santificó Salomón el medio del atrio que estaba delante de la casa de Jehová, por cuanto había ofrecido allí los holocaustos, y los sebos de los pacíficos; porque en el altar de bronce que Salomón había hecho, no podían caber los holocaustos, y el presente, y los sebos.

Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.

En ce temps-là, Salomon célébra la fête †de Souccot durant sept jours, tout Israël étant avec lui, une assemblée extrêmement nombreuse accourue, depuis Hemath jusqu’au torrent d’Egypte.

Entonces hizo Salomón fiesta siete días, y con él todo Israel, una grande congregación, desde la entrada de Hamath hasta el arroyo de Egipto.

Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.

Le huitième jour on fit une fête de clôture. En effet, on avait procédé à la dédicace de l’autel pendant sept jours et célébré la fête †de Souccot pendant sept jours.

Al octavo día hicieron convocación, porque habían hecho la dedicación del altar en siete días, y habían celebrado la solemnidad por siete días.

Le vingt-troisième jour du septième mois, Salomon renvoya dans ses foyers le peuple, heureux et le cœur réjoui de toutes les grâces dont le Seigneur avait comblé David, Salomon et Israël, son peuple.

Y á los veintitrés del mes séptimo envió al pueblo á sus estancias, alegres y gozosos de corazón por los beneficios que Jehová había hecho á David, y á Salomón, y á su pueblo Israel.

And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

Salomon acheva ainsi la maison du Seigneur et la demeure royale; il accomplit heureusement tout ce qu’il avait projeté de faire pour la maison du Seigneur et pour son propre palais.

Acabó pues Salomón la casa de Jehová, y la casa del rey: y todo lo que Salomón tuvo en voluntad de hacer en la casa de Jehová y en su casa, fué prosperado.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

Alors le Seigneur apparut à Salomon pendant la nuit, et lui dit: "J’accueille ta prière, et je fais choix de cette maison comme d’un lieu de sacrifices.

Y apareció Jehová á Salomón de noche, y díjole: Yo he oído tu oración, y he elegido para mí este lugar por casa de sacrificio.

And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.

S’il arrive que je ferme le ciel pour qu’il n’y ait point de pluie, que j’ordonne aux sauterelles de ravager le pays ou que je déchaîne une épidémie contre mon peuple,

Si yo cerrare los cielos, que no haya lluvia, y si mandare á la langosta que consuma la tierra, ó si enviare pestilencia á mi pueblo;

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

“If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people,

et qu’alors mon peuple, auquel mon nom se trouve associé, s’humilie, m’adresse des prières, recherche ma présence et abandonne ses mauvaises voies, à mon tour je l’exaucerai du haut du ciel, lui pardonnerai ses péchés et réparerai les ruines de son pays.

Si se humillare mi pueblo, sobre los cuales ni nombre es invocado, y oraren, y buscaren mi rostro, y se convirtieren de sus malos caminos; entonces yo oiré desde los cielos, y perdonaré sus pecados, y sanaré su tierra.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Dès à présent, mes yeux seront ouverts et mes oreilles attentives aux prières prononcées en ce lieu.

Ahora estarán abiertos mis ojos, y atentos mis oídos, á la oración en este lugar:

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Dès à présent aussi, je choisis et sanctifie cette maison en y faisant régner mon nom à jamais, en y dirigeant constamment mes yeux et ma pensée.

Pues que ahora he elegido y santificado esta casa, para que esté en ella mi nombre para siempre; y mis ojos y mi corazón estarán ahí para siempre.

For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Pour toi, si tu marches devant moi comme a marché David, ton père, en te conformant à tout ce que je t’ai prescrit, en gardant mes lois et mes statuts,

Y tú, si anduvieres delante de mí, como anduvo David tu padre, é hicieres todas las cosas que yo te he mandado, y guardares mis estatutos y mis derechos,

And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;

“As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

je maintiendrai le trône de ta royauté, en vertu du pacte que j’ai fait avec ton père David, en disant: "Jamais il ne manquera un des tiens pour régner sur Israël."

Yo confirmaré el trono de tu reino, como concerté con David tu padre, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti que domine en Israel.

Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

Mais si vous vous égarez, si vous délaissez mes lois et mes préceptes que je vous ai donnés, et que vous alliez servir des dieux étrangers et vous prosterner devant eux,

Mas si vosotros os volviereis, y dejareis mis estatutos y mis preceptos que os he propuesto, y fuereis y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, y los adorareis,

But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

But if you turn away and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,

je vous arracherai du pays que je vous avais donné; cette maison, que j’ai consacrée à mon nom, je la répudierai et j’en ferai la fable et la risée de toutes les nations;

Yo los arrancaré de mi tierra que les he dado; y esta casa que he santificado á mi nombre, yo la echaré de delante de mí, y pondréla por proverbio y fábula en todos los pueblos.

Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

et cette maison placée à un si haut rang ne produira plus que stupeur chez tout venant; et quand on dira: "Pourquoi le Seigneur a-t-il traité ainsi ce pays et ce temple?"

Y esta casa que habrá sido ilustre, será espanto á todo el que pasare, y dirá: ¿Por qué ha hecho así Jehová á esta tierra y á esta casa?

And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’

On répondra: "Parce qu’ils ont abandonné le Seigneur, Dieu de leurs pères, qui les avait délivrés de l’Egypte, ont adopté des divinités étrangères, les ont servies et adorées, c’est pour cela que le Seigneur a fait fondre sur eux tous ces malheurs."

Y se responderá: Por cuanto dejaron á Jehová Dios de sus padres, el cual los sacó de la tierra de Egipto, y han abrazado dioses ajenos, y los adoraron y sirvieron: por eso él ha traído todo este mal sobre ellos.

And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

They shall answer, ‘Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”
