Quel tale tenga questo per certo: che quali siamo a parole, per via di lettere, quando siamo assenti, tali saremo anche a fatti quando saremo presenti.

Esto piense el tal, que cuales somos en la palabra por cartas estando ausentes, tales seremos también en hechos, estando presentes.

Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when we are absent, such are we also in deed when we are present.
