2 Corintios 10

Or moi-même, Paul, je vous exhorte par la douceur et par la clémence de Christ, moi qui, présent parmi vous, suis humble d'apparence, mais qui, absent, suis plein de hardiesse envers vous ;

EMPERO yo Pablo, os ruego por la mansedumbre y modestia de Cristo, yo que presente ciertamente soy bajo entre vosotros, mas ausente soy confiado entre vosotros:

Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

Now I Paul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

je vous supplie que, quand je serai présent, je ne sois pas obligé d'user avec assurance de cette hardiesse avec laquelle j'ai dessein d'agir contre quelques-uns qui estiment que nous marchons comme selon la chair.

Ruego pues, que cuando estuviere presente, no tenga que ser atrevido con la confianza con que estoy en ánimo de ser resuelto para con algunos, que nos tienen como si anduviésemos según la carne.

But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

Yes, I beg you that I may not, when present, show courage with the confidence with which I intend to be bold against some, who consider us to be walking according to the flesh.

Car si nous marchons dans la chair, nous ne combattons point selon la chair.

Pues aunque andamos en la carne, no militamos según la carne,

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh;

En effet, les armes de notre guerre ne sont point charnelles, mais puissantes selon Dieu, pour renverser les forteresses ;

(Porque las armas de nuestra milicia no son carnales, sino poderosas en Dios para la destrucción de fortalezas;)

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

détruisant les raisonnements et toute hauteur qui s'élève contre la connaissance de Dieu, et amenant toute pensée captive à l'obéissance de Christ ;

Destruyendo consejos, y toda altura que se levanta contra la ciencia de Dios, y cautivando todo intento á la obediencia de Cristo;

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

et étant prêts à punir toute désobéissance, lorsque votre obéissance aura été accomplie.

Y estando prestos para castigar toda desobediencia, cuando vuestra obediencia fuere cumplida.

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is made full.

Regardez-vous les choses selon l'apparence ? Si quelqu'un a la confiance en lui-même qu'il est à Christ, qu'il conclue aussi en lui-même que, comme il est à Christ, nous le sommes aussi.

Miráis las cosas según la apariencia. Si alguno está confiado en sí mismo que es de Cristo, esto también piense por sí mismo, que como él es de Cristo, así también nosotros somos de Cristo.

Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.

Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that even as he is Christ’s, so we also are Christ’s.

Car si même je me glorifiais un peu plus de notre autorité, que le Seigneur nous a donnée pour l'édification, et non pour votre destruction, je n'en aurais point de honte,

Porque aunque me gloríe aún un poco de nuestra potestad (la cual el Señor nos dió para edificación y no para vuestra destrucción), no me avergonzaré;

For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

For even if I boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for casting you down, I will not be ashamed,

afin qu'on ne croie pas que je veuille vous intimider par mes lettres ;

Porque no parezca como que os quiero espantar por cartas.

That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

that I may not seem as if I desire to terrify you by my letters.

car ses lettres, dit-on, sont à la vérité graves et fortes, mais la présence de son corps est faible, et sa parole est méprisable.

Porque á la verdad, dicen, las cartas son graves y fuertes; mas la presencia corporal flaca, y la palabra menospreciable.

For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

For, “His letters”, they say, “are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is despised.”

Que celui qui parle ainsi considère que, tels que nous sommes en parole par lettres, étant absents, tels aussi nous sommes en œuvre, étant présents.

Esto piense el tal, que cuales somos en la palabra por cartas estando ausentes, tales seremos también en hechos, estando presentes.

Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when we are absent, such are we also in deed when we are present.

Car nous n'osons nous égaler ou nous comparer à quelques-uns, qui se recommandent eux-mêmes ; mais eux, se mesurant eux-mêmes par eux-mêmes, et se comparant eux-mêmes avec eux-mêmes, sont sans intelligence.

Porque no osamos entremeternos ó compararnos con algunos que se alaban á sí mismos: mas ellos, midiéndose á sí mismos por sí mismos, y comparándose consigo mismos no son juiciosos.

For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

Mais nous, nous ne nous glorifions point outre mesure, mais selon la mesure du partage que Dieu nous a assigné, pour nous faire parvenir jusqu'à vous.

Nosotros empero, no nos gloriaremos fuera de nuestra medida, sino conforme á la medida de la regla, de la medida que Dios nos repartió, para llegar aun hasta vosotros.

But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

But we will not boast beyond proper limits, but within the boundaries with which God appointed to us, which reach even to you.

Car nous ne nous étendons pas plus que nous ne devons comme si nous ne parvenions pas jusqu'à vous ; puisque nous sommes arrivés même jusqu'à vous par l'Evangile de Christ.

Porque no nos extendemos sobre nuestra medida, como si no llegásemos hasta vosotros: porque también hasta vosotros hemos llegado en el evangelio de Cristo:

For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

For we don’t stretch ourselves too much, as though we didn’t reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Christ,

Nous ne nous glorifions point outre mesure, dans les travaux des autres ; mais nous espérons que, votre foi s'accroissant, nous nous étendrons parmi vous beaucoup plus loin, selon le partage qui nous est assigné,

No gloriándonos fuera de nuestra medida en trabajos ajenos; mas teniendo esperanza del crecimiento de vuestra fe, que seremos muy engrandecidos entre vosotros, conforme á nuestra regla.

Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,

not boasting beyond proper limits in other men’s labors, but having hope that as your faith grows, we will be abundantly enlarged by you in our sphere of influence,

pour prêcher l'Evangile dans les pays qui sont au delà du vôtre ; sans nous glorifier de ce qui a déjà été fait dans le partage des autres.

Y que anunciaremos el evangelio en los lugares más allá de vosotros, sin entrar en la medida de otro para gloriarnos en lo que ya estaba aparejado.

To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.

so as to preach the Good News even to the parts beyond you, not to boast in what someone else has already done.

Que celui donc qui se glorifie, se glorifie dans le Seigneur.

Mas el que se gloría, gloríese en el Señor.

But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.”

Car ce n'est pas celui qui se recommande soi-même qui est approuvé, mais c'est celui que le Seigneur recommande.

Porque no el que se alaba á sí mismo, el tal es aprobado; mas aquel á quien Dios alaba.

For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
