Nochmals wiederhole ich es: Niemand möge mich für einen (wirklichen) Toren halten! Wenn aber doch – nun, so laßt euch meine Torheit einmal gefallen, damit auch ich ein kleines Loblied von mir anstimme!

Otra vez digo: Que nadie me estime ser loco; de otra manera, recibidme como á loco, para que aun me gloríe yo un poquito.

I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

I say again, let no one think me foolish. But if so, yet receive me as foolish, that I also may boast a little.
