Ich will aber fast gerne darlegen und dargelegt werden fur eure Seelen; wiewohl ich euch fast sehr liebe und doch wenig geliebt werde.

Empero yo de muy buena gana despenderé y seré despendido por vuestras almas, aunque amándoos más, sea amado menos.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?
