2 Corintios 12

Il faut se glorifier..., cela ne convient pas ; car j'en viendrai jusqu'à des visions et à des révélations du Seigneur.

CIERTO no me es conveniente gloriarme; mas vendré á las visiones y á las revelaciones del Señor.

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast, but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

Je connais un homme en Christ, qui, il y a quatorze ans, fut ravi jusqu'au troisième ciel ; si ce fut en corps, je ne sais ; si ce fut hors du corps, je ne sais, Dieu le sait ;

Conozco á un hombre en Cristo, que hace catorce años (si en el cuerpo, no lo sé; si fuera del cuerpo, no lo sé: Dios lo sabe) fué arrebatado hasta el tercer cielo.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

I know a man in Christ who was caught up into the third heaven fourteen years ago—whether in the body, I don’t know, or whether out of the body, I don’t know; God knows.

et je sais que cet homme (si ce fut en corps, ou si ce fut sans corps, je ne sais, Dieu le sait )

Y conozco tal hombre, (si en el cuerpo, ó fuera del cuerpo, no lo sé: Dios lo sabe,)

And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

I know such a man (whether in the body, or outside of the body, I don’t know; God knows),

fut ravi dans le paradis, et y entendit des paroles ineffables, qu'il n'est pas permis à un homme d'exprimer.

Que fué arrebatado al paraíso, donde oyó palabras secretas que el hombre no puede decir.

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Je me glorifierai d'un tel homme, mais de moi-même je ne me glorifierai point, si ce n'est en mes infirmités.

De este tal me gloriaré, mas de mí mismo nada me gloriaré, sino en mis flaquezas.

Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.

Si, en effet, je voulais me glorifier, je ne serais point imprudent, car je dirais la vérité ; mais je m'en abstiens, de peur que quelqu'un ne pense à mon égard au delà de ce qu'il voit en moi, ou de ce qu'il entend de moi.

Por lo cual si quisiere gloriarme, no seré insensato: porque diré verdad: empero lo dejo, porque nadie piense de mí más de lo que en mí ve, ú oye de mí.

For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

For if I would desire to boast, I will not be foolish; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, so that no man may think more of me than that which he sees in me or hears from me.

Et afin que je ne m'élève pas, à cause de l'excellence des révélations, il m'a été donné une écharde dans la chair, un ange de Satan pour me souffleter, afin que je ne m'élève pas.

Y porque la grandeza de las revelaciones no me levante descomedidamente, me es dado un aguijón en mi carne, un mensajero de Satanás que me abofetee, para que no me enaltezca sobremanera.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, a thorn in the flesh was given to me: a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively.

Trois fois, à ce sujet, j'invoquai le Seigneur, afin qu'il se retirât de moi.

Por lo cual tres veces he rogado al Señor, que se quite de mí.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

Et il me dit : Ma grâce te suffit ; car ma puissance s'accomplit dans la faiblesse. Je me glorifierai donc très volontiers plutôt dans mes infirmités, afin que la puissance de Christ habite en moi.

Y me ha dicho: Bástate mi gracia; porque mi potencia en la flaqueza se perfecciona. Por tanto, de buena gana me gloriaré más bien en mis flaquezas, porque habite en mí la potencia de Cristo.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

C'est pourquoi je prends plaisir dans les infirmités, dans les opprobres, dans les nécessités, dans les persécutions, dans les angoisses pour Christ ; car lorsque je suis faible, c'est alors que je suis fort.

Por lo cual me gozo en las flaquezas, en afrentas, en necesidades, en persecuciones, en angustias por Cristo; porque cuando soy flaco, entonces soy poderoso.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

J'ai été imprudent ; c'est vous qui m'y avez contraint ; car c'était à vous à me recommander, vu que je n'ai été inférieur en rien aux apôtres par excellence, quoique je ne sois rien.

Heme hecho un necio en gloriarme: vosotros me constreñisteis; pues yo había de ser alabado de vosotros: porque en nada he sido menos que los sumos apóstoles, aunque soy nada.

I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

I have become foolish in boasting. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you, for I am in no way inferior to the very best apostles, though I am nothing.

Oui, les signes de l'apôtre ont été produits parmi vous, en toute patience, par des signes, par des prodiges et par des miracles.

Con todo esto, las señales de apóstol han sido hechas entre vosotros en toda paciencia, en señales, y en prodigios, y en maravillas.

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Truly the signs of an apostle were worked among you in all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty works.

Car en quoi avez-vous été inférieurs aux autres Eglises, sinon en ce que moi-même je ne vous ai point été à charge ; pardonnez-moi cette injustice.

Porque ¿qué hay en que habéis sido menos que las otras iglesias, sino en que yo mismo no os he sido carga? Perdonadme esta injuria.

For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

For what is there in which you were made inferior to the rest of the assemblies, unless it is that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!

Voici, pour la troisième fois je suis prêt à aller vers vous ; et je ne vous serai point à charge ; car ce ne sont pas vos biens que je cherche, c'est vous-mêmes ; car ce n'est pas aux enfants à amasser du bien pour leurs parents ; mais aux parents pour leurs enfants.

He aquí estoy aparejado para ir á vosotros la tercera vez, y no os seré gravoso; porque no busco vuestras cosas, sino á vosotros: porque no han de atesorar los hijos para los padres, sino los padres para los hijos.

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I seek not your possessions, but you. For the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Et pour moi, je dépenserai très volontiers, et je me dépenserai moi-même pour vos âmes, même si, vous aimant davantage, je suis moins aimé.

Empero yo de muy buena gana despenderé y seré despendido por vuestras almas, aunque amándoos más, sea amado menos.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?

Soit ! je ne vous ai point été à charge ; mais étant un homme artificieux, je vous ai pris par ruse !

Mas sea así, yo no os he agravado: sino que, como soy astuto, os he tomado por engaño.

But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

Even so, I myself didn’t burden you. But you might say that being crafty, I caught you with deception.

Ai-je tiré du profit de vous, par quelqu'un de ceux que je vous ai envoyés ?

¿Acaso os he engañado por alguno de los que he enviado á vosotros?

Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?

Did I take advantage of you by anyone of those whom I have sent to you?

J'ai prié Tite d'aller, et j'ai envoyé le frère avec lui. Tite a-t-il profité de vous ? N'avons-nous pas agi dans le même esprit ? marché sur les mêmes traces ?

Rogué á Tito, y envié con él al hermano. ¿Os engañó quizá Tito? ¿no hemos procedido con el mismo espíritu y por las mismas pisadas?

I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? Didn’t we walk in the same spirit? Didn’t we walk in the same steps?

Depuis longtemps vous pensez que nous nous justifions auprès de vous ! Nous parlons devant Dieu en Christ ; et tout cela, bien-aimés, pour votre édification.

¿Pensáis aún que nos excusamos con vosotros? Delante de Dios en Cristo hablamos: mas todo, muy amados, por vuestra edificación.

Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.

Again, do you think that we are excusing ourselves to you? In the sight of God we speak in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying.

Car je crains qu'à mon arrivée je ne vous trouve pas tels que je voudrais ; et que moi, je sois trouvé de vous tel que vous ne voudriez pas ; et qu'il n'y ait parmi vous des contestations, de la jalousie, des animosités, des dissensions, des médisances, des insinuations, de l'orgueil, des troubles ;

Porque temo que cuando llegare, no os halle tales como quiero, y yo sea hallado de vosotros cual no queréis; que haya entre vosotros contiendas, envidias, iras, disensiones, detracciones, murmuraciones, elaciones, bandos:

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

For I am afraid that perhaps when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don’t desire, that perhaps there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, or riots,

et qu'étant retourné vers vous, mon Dieu ne m'humilie, et que je ne sois dans le deuil au sujet de plusieurs qui, ayant péché ci-devant, ne se sont point repentis de l'impureté, de la fornication et de l'impudicité qu'ils ont commises.

Que cuando volviere, me humille Dios entre vosotros, y haya de llorar por muchos de los que antes habrán pecado, y no se han arrepentido de la inmundicia y fornicación y deshonestidad que han cometido.

And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness, sexual immorality, and lustfulness which they committed.
