2 Corintios 12

Gerühmt muß sein; es ist zwar nicht heilsam, aber ich will doch auf die Gesichte und Offenbarungen des Herrn zu sprechen kommen.

CIERTO no me es conveniente gloriarme; mas vendré á las visiones y á las revelaciones del Señor.

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast, but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

Ich weiß von einem Menschen in Christus, daß er vor vierzehn Jahren bis zum dritten Himmel entrückt wurde; ob er dabei im Leibe gewesen ist, weiß ich nicht, ob außerhalb des Leibes, weiß ich auch nicht, Gott weiß es.

Conozco á un hombre en Cristo, que hace catorce años (si en el cuerpo, no lo sé; si fuera del cuerpo, no lo sé: Dios lo sabe) fué arrebatado hasta el tercer cielo.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

I know a man in Christ who was caught up into the third heaven fourteen years ago—whether in the body, I don’t know, or whether out of the body, I don’t know; God knows.

Und ich weiß von dem betreffenden Menschen – ob er im Leibe oder ohne den Leib gewesen ist, weiß ich nicht, Gott weiß es –,

Y conozco tal hombre, (si en el cuerpo, ó fuera del cuerpo, no lo sé: Dios lo sabe,)

And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

I know such a man (whether in the body, or outside of the body, I don’t know; God knows),

daß er in das Paradies entrückt wurde und unsagbare Worte hörte, die ein Mensch nicht aussprechen darf.

Que fué arrebatado al paraíso, donde oyó palabras secretas que el hombre no puede decir.

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Als ein solcher Mensch will ich mich rühmen, in bezug auf mich selbst aber will ich mich nicht rühmen als nur wegen der Schwachheiten.

De este tal me gloriaré, mas de mí mismo nada me gloriaré, sino en mis flaquezas.

Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.

Wenn ich mich nämlich wirklich entschlösse, mich zu rühmen, wäre ich deshalb kein Tor, denn ich würde die Wahrheit sagen; doch ich unterlasse es, damit niemand höher von mir denke als dem entsprechend, was er an mir sieht oder von mir hört,

Por lo cual si quisiere gloriarme, no seré insensato: porque diré verdad: empero lo dejo, porque nadie piense de mí más de lo que en mí ve, ú oye de mí.

For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

For if I would desire to boast, I will not be foolish; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, so that no man may think more of me than that which he sees in me or hears from me.

und auch wegen der außerordentlichen Größe der Offenbarungen. Deswegen ist mir auch, damit ich mich nicht überhebe, ein Dorn ins Fleisch gegeben worden, ein Engel Satans, der mich mit Fäusten schlagen muß, damit ich mich nicht überhebe.

Y porque la grandeza de las revelaciones no me levante descomedidamente, me es dado un aguijón en mi carne, un mensajero de Satanás que me abofetee, para que no me enaltezca sobremanera.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, a thorn in the flesh was given to me: a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively.

Dreimal habe ich um seinetwillen den Herrn angefleht, er möchte von mir ablassen;

Por lo cual tres veces he rogado al Señor, que se quite de mí.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

doch er hat zu mir gesagt: »Meine Gnade ist für dich genügend, denn meine Kraft gelangt in der Schwachheit zur Vollendung.« Daher will ich mich am liebsten um so mehr meiner Schwachheiten rühmen, damit die Kraft Christi Wohnung bei mir nimmt.

Y me ha dicho: Bástate mi gracia; porque mi potencia en la flaqueza se perfecciona. Por tanto, de buena gana me gloriaré más bien en mis flaquezas, porque habite en mí la potencia de Cristo.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Darum bin ich freudigen Muts in Schwachheiten, bei Mißhandlungen, in Notlagen, in Verfolgungen und Bedrängnissen, die ich um Christi willen erleide; denn gerade wenn ich schwach bin, dann bin ich stark.

Por lo cual me gozo en las flaquezas, en afrentas, en necesidades, en persecuciones, en angustias por Cristo; porque cuando soy flaco, entonces soy poderoso.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

Ich bin ein Tor geworden; ihr habt mich dazu gezwungen; denn (eigentlich) hätte ich von euch empfohlen werden müssen; ich bin ja doch in keiner Beziehung hinter den »unvergleichlichen« Aposteln zurückgeblieben, wenn ich auch nichts bin;

Heme hecho un necio en gloriarme: vosotros me constreñisteis; pues yo había de ser alabado de vosotros: porque en nada he sido menos que los sumos apóstoles, aunque soy nada.

I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

I have become foolish in boasting. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you, for I am in no way inferior to the very best apostles, though I am nothing.

wenigstens sind die Zeichen des Apostels unter euch in aller Ausdauer erbracht worden durch Zeichen, Wunder und Machttaten;

Con todo esto, las señales de apóstol han sido hechas entre vosotros en toda paciencia, en señales, y en prodigios, y en maravillas.

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Truly the signs of an apostle were worked among you in all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty works.

denn was wäre es, worin ihr im Vergleich mit den anderen Gemeinden verkürzt worden wäret? Höchstens das eine, daß ich persönlich euch nicht zur Last gefallen bin: vergebt mir dieses Unrecht!

Porque ¿qué hay en que habéis sido menos que las otras iglesias, sino en que yo mismo no os he sido carga? Perdonadme esta injuria.

For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

For what is there in which you were made inferior to the rest of the assemblies, unless it is that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!

Seht, ich halte mich jetzt zu einem dritten Besuche bei euch bereit und werde euch (auch diesmal) nicht zur Last fallen; denn ich suche nicht euer Hab und Gut, sondern euch selbst; die Kinder sind ja nicht verpflichtet, für die Eltern Schätze zu sammeln, sondern umgekehrt die Eltern für die Kinder.

He aquí estoy aparejado para ir á vosotros la tercera vez, y no os seré gravoso; porque no busco vuestras cosas, sino á vosotros: porque no han de atesorar los hijos para los padres, sino los padres para los hijos.

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I seek not your possessions, but you. For the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Ich aber will herzlich gern (Geld und Gut) zum Opfer bringen, ja mich selbst völlig aufopfern lassen, wenn es sich um euer Seelenheil handelt. Soll ich, wenn ich euch in besonderem Maße liebe, darum weniger Gegenliebe (bei euch) finden?

Empero yo de muy buena gana despenderé y seré despendido por vuestras almas, aunque amándoos más, sea amado menos.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?

Doch gut: ich persönlich bin euch nicht beschwerlich gefallen; aber weil ich ein »schlauer« Mann bin, habe ich euch »mit List eingefangen«?

Mas sea así, yo no os he agravado: sino que, como soy astuto, os he tomado por engaño.

But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

Even so, I myself didn’t burden you. But you might say that being crafty, I caught you with deception.

Habe ich euch etwa durch einen von denen ausbeuten lassen, die ich zu euch gesandt habe?

¿Acaso os he engañado por alguno de los que he enviado á vosotros?

Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?

Did I take advantage of you by anyone of those whom I have sent to you?

Ich habe Titus zur Reise veranlaßt und den Bruder mitgesandt: hat euch nun Titus irgendwie ausgebeutet? Sind wir (beide) nicht in dem gleichen Geiste gewandelt? Nicht in den gleichen Fußtapfen?

Rogué á Tito, y envié con él al hermano. ¿Os engañó quizá Tito? ¿no hemos procedido con el mismo espíritu y por las mismas pisadas?

I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? Didn’t we walk in the same spirit? Didn’t we walk in the same steps?

Schon lange seid ihr der Meinung, daß wir uns euch gegenüber verantworten wollen. Nein, vor Gottes Angesicht in Christus reden wir, und zwar soll das alles, Geliebte, zu eurer Auferbauung dienen.

¿Pensáis aún que nos excusamos con vosotros? Delante de Dios en Cristo hablamos: mas todo, muy amados, por vuestra edificación.

Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.

Again, do you think that we are excusing ourselves to you? In the sight of God we speak in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying.

Ich fürchte nämlich, euch bei meinem Kommen nicht so zu finden, wie ich es wünsche, und (selbst) von euch so erfunden zu werden, wie ihr es nicht wünscht; ich fürchte, Streitigkeiten und Eifersucht, Zerwürfnisse und Parteiwesen, Verleumdungen und Ohrenbläsereien, Überhebung und Unordnung (bei euch) vorzufinden;

Porque temo que cuando llegare, no os halle tales como quiero, y yo sea hallado de vosotros cual no queréis; que haya entre vosotros contiendas, envidias, iras, disensiones, detracciones, murmuraciones, elaciones, bandos:

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

For I am afraid that perhaps when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don’t desire, that perhaps there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, or riots,

(ich fürchte) daß mein Gott mich nach meiner Ankunft aufs neue demütigende Erfahrungen bei euch machen läßt und daß ich um viele von denen Leid tragen muß, die früher gesündigt haben und wegen der Unsittlichkeit, der Unzucht und ausschweifenden Lebensweise, die sie getrieben haben, unbußfertig geblieben sind.

Que cuando volviere, me humille Dios entre vosotros, y haya de llorar por muchos de los que antes habrán pecado, y no se han arrepentido de la inmundicia y fornicación y deshonestidad que han cometido.

And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness, sexual immorality, and lustfulness which they committed.
