10Por esta razón escribo estas cosas mientras estoy ausente, de modo que pueda haber necesidad de que, cuando esté presente, haga uso de medidas severas, por la autoridad que el Señor me ha dado para edificar y no para destrucción.

10Por tanto os escribo esto ausente, por no tratar presente con dureza, conforme á la potestad que el Señor me ha dado para edificación, y no para destrucción.

10Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

10For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
