Deus nos consola em toda nossa aflição, para que possamos consolar os que estão em qualquer aflição, consolamos a outros com a mesma consolação que temos recebido de Deus.
El cual nos consuela en todas nuestras tribulaciones, para que podamos también nosotros consolar á los que están en cualquiera angustia, con la consolación con que nosotros somos consolados de Dios.
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Pois, assim como os sofrimentos de Cristo são abundantes por nossa causa, assim também nosso consolo é abundante por meio de Cristo.
Porque de la manera que abundan en nosotros las aflicciones de Cristo, así abunda también por el mismo Cristo nuestra consolación.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
Mas, se somos afligidos, é para o vosso consolo e salvação; e, se somos consolados, é para vosso consolo. Esse conforto é eficaz quando vós compartilhais com paciência os mesmos sofrimentos que nós.
Mas si somos atribulados, es por vuestra consolación y salud; la cual es obrada en el sufrir las mismas aflicciones que nosotros también padecemos: ó si somos consolados, es por vuestra consolación y salud;
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
E nossa confiança em vós é certa, sabemos que assim como vós compartilhais os sofrimentos, também compartilhais o consolo.
Y nuestra esperanza de vosotros es firme; estando ciertos que como sois compañeros de las aflicciones, así también lo sois de la consolación.
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so you are also of the comfort.
Porque não queremos, irmãos, que sejais ignorantes acerca das tribulações que tivemos na Ásia. Fomos completamente sobrecarregados além do que podíamos suportar, tanto que não tínhamos mais esperança de viver.
Porque hermanos, no queremos que ignoréis de nuestra tribulación que nos fué hecha en Asia; que sobremanera fuimos cargados sobre nuestras fuerzas de tal manera que estuviésemos en duda de la vida.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
De fato, tínhamos a sentença de morte em nós. Contudo, isso era para que não colocássemos nossa confiança em nós mesmos, mas em Deus, que ressuscita os mortos.

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Ele nos resgatou de um perigo tão mortal, e nos resgatará novamente. Nós colocamos nossa confiança Nele, de que nos libertará novamente.
El cual nos libró, y libra de tanta muerte; en el cual esperamos que aun nos librará;
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver, on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us,
Ele nos libertará enquanto vós nos auxiliais através de vossas orações. Então, muitos agradecerão pelo favor gracioso nos dado através das orações de muitos.
Ayudándonos también vosotros con oración por nosotros, para que por la merced hecha á nos por respeto de muchos, por muchos sean hechas gracias por nosotros.
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift given to us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.
Nós nos orgulhamos disto: o testemunho da nossa consciência. Pois é por motivos puros e sinceros, da parte de Deus, que procedemos no mundo, especialmente convosco, não com sabedoria terrena, mas pela graça de Deus.
Porque nuestra gloria es esta: el testimonio de nuestra conciencia, que con simplicidad y sinceridad de Dios, no con sabiduría carnal, mas con la gracia de Dios, hemos conversado en el mundo, y muy más con vosotros.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
Não vos escrevemos qualquer coisa que não podeis ler ou entender. Espero que nos entendais completamente,
Porque no os escribimos otras cosas de las que leéis, ó también conocéis: y espero que aun hasta el fin las conoceréis:
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end—
como já nos entendestes em parte. Então, no dia de nosso Senhor Jesus, seremos a razão do vosso orgulho, assim como vós sereis do nosso.
Como también en parte habéis conocido que somos vuestra gloria, así como también vosotros la nuestra, para el día del Señor Jesús.
As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
as also you acknowledged us in part—that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
Porque eu estava confiante disto, eu queria vir até vós primeiro, para receberdes o benefício de duas visitas.
Y con esta confianza quise primero ir á vosotros, para que tuvieseis una segunda gracia;
And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,
Eu planejava vos visitar quando fosse à Macedônia, e depois iria novamente visitar-vos quando eu voltasse de lá, e então ser encaminhado por vós à Judeia.
Y por vosotros pasar á Macedonia, y de Macedonia venir otra vez á vosotros, y ser vuelto de vosotros á Judea.
And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
Quando eu planejava isso, por acaso hesitava? Por acaso, planejo coisas de acordo com padrões humanos, de modo que digo: "sim, sim" e "não, não", ao mesmo tempo?
Así que, pretendiendo esto, ¿usé quizá de liviandad? ó lo que pienso hacer, ¿piénsolo según la carne, para que haya en mí Sí y No?
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
When I therefore planned this, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
Mas assim como Deus é fiel, nós não dizemos ao mesmo tempo "sim" e "não".
Antes, Dios fiel sabe que nuestra palabra para con vosotros no es Sí y No.
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not “Yes and no.”
Pois, o Filho de Deus, Jesus Cristo, a quem Silvano, Timóteo e eu proclamamos entre vós, não é "sim" e "não"; mas é sempre "sim".
Porque el Hijo de Dios, Jesucristo, que por nosotros ha sido entre vosotros predicado, por mí y Silvano y Timoteo, no ha sido Sí y No; mas ha sido Sí en él.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

Pois todas as promessas de Deus são "sim" Nele. Então, também através Dele, nós dizemos "amém" para a glória de Deus.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

É Deus quem nos confirma convosco em Cristo, e Ele nos comissionou.
Y el que nos confirma con vosotros en Cristo, y el que nos ungió, es Dios;
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,
Ele pôs Seu selo em nós e em nossos corações, e concedeu-nos o Espírito como um penhor.
El cual también nos ha sellado, y dado la prenda del Espíritu en nuestros corazones.
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
Eu tomo Deus como minha testemunha de que a razão pela qual não estive em Corinto foi para poupar-vos.
Mas yo llamo á Dios por testigo sobre mi alma, que por ser indulgente con vosotros no he pasado todavía á Corinto.
Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.
But I call God for a witness to my soul, that to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth.
Não porque tentamos controlar a vossa fé, mas porque trabalhamos convosco para vossa alegria, enquanto, pela fé, permaneceis firmes.
No que nos enseñoreemos de vuestra fe, mas somos ayudadores de vuestro gozo: porque por la fe estáis firmes.
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
We don’t control your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
