Fangen wir wieder an, uns selbst zu empfehlen? Oder bedürfen wir etwa, wie gewisse Leute, der Empfehlungsbriefe an euch oder von euch?

¿COMENZAMOS otra vez á alabarnos á nosotros mismos? ¿ó tenemos necesidad, como algunos, de letras de recomendación para vosotros, ó de recomendación de vosotros?

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you?

Unser Brief seid ihr selbst, in unser Herz geschrieben, erkannt und gelesen von jedermann.

Nuestras letras sois vosotros, escritas en nuestros corazones, sabidas y leídas de todos los hombres;

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men,

Es ist offenbar, daß ihr ein Brief Christi seid, durch unsern Dienst geworden, geschrieben nicht mit Tinte, sondern mit dem Geiste des lebendigen Gottes, nicht auf steinerne Tafeln, sondern auf fleischerne Tafeln des Herzens.

Siendo manifiesto que sois letra de Cristo administrada de nosotros, escrita no con tinta, mas con el Espíritu del Dios vivo; no en tablas de piedra, sino en tablas de carne del corazón.

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

Solche Zuversicht haben wir durch Christus zu Gott;

Y tal confianza tenemos por Cristo para con Dios:

And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

Such confidence we have through Christ toward God,

denn wir sind nicht aus uns selber tüchtig, so daß wir uns etwas anrechnen dürften, als käme es aus uns selbst, sondern unsere Tüchtigkeit kommt von Gott,

No que seamos suficientes de nosotros mismos para pensar algo como de nosotros mismos, sino que nuestra suficiencia es de Dios;

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

not that we are sufficient of ourselves to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

der uns auch tüchtig gemacht hat zu Dienern des neuen Bundes, nicht des Buchstabens, sondern des Geistes; denn der Buchstabe tötet, aber der Geist macht lebendig.

El cual asimismo nos hizo ministros suficientes de un nuevo pacto: no de la letra, mas del espíritu; porque la letra mata, mas el espíritu vivifica.

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Wenn aber der Dienst des Todes durch in Stein gegrabene Buchstaben von solcher Herrlichkeit war, daß die Kinder Israel nicht in das Angesicht Moses zu schauen vermochten wegen der Herrlichkeit seines Antlitzes, die doch vergänglich war,

Y si el ministerio de muerte en la letra grabado en piedras, fué con gloria, tanto que los hijos de Israel no pudiesen poner los ojos en la faz de Moisés á causa de la gloria de su rostro, la cual había de perecer,

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which was passing away,

wie sollte denn nicht der Dienst des Geistes von weit größerer Herrlichkeit sein?

¿Cómo no será más bien con gloria el ministerio del espíritu?

How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?

Denn wenn der Dienst der Verdammnis Herrlichkeit hatte, wieviel mehr wird der Dienst der Gerechtigkeit von Herrlichkeit überfließen!

Porque si el ministerio de condenación fué con gloria, mucho más abundará en gloria el ministerio de justicia.

For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Ja jenes, das herrlich war, ist überhaupt nicht herrlich im Vergleich zu diesem, das eine so überschwengliche Herrlichkeit hat.

Porque aun lo que fué glorioso, no es glorioso en esta parte, en comparación de la excelente gloria.

For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.

Denn wenn das, was aufhören sollte, mit Herrlichkeit kam, wieviel mehr wird das, was bleibt, in Herrlichkeit bestehen!

Porque si lo que perece tuvo gloria, mucho más será en gloria lo que permanece.

For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

Da wir nun solche Hoffnung haben, so gebrauchen wir große Freimütigkeit

Así que, teniendo tal esperanza, hablamos con mucha confianza;

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,

und tun nicht wie Mose, der eine Decke auf sein Angesicht legte, damit die Kinder Israel nicht auf das Ende dessen, was aufhören sollte, schauen möchten.

Y no como Moisés, que ponía un velo sobre su faz, para que los hijos de Israel no pusiesen los ojos en el fin de lo que había de ser abolido.

And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face so that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.

Aber ihre Sinne wurden verhärtet; denn bis zum heutigen Tage bleibt dieselbe Decke beim Lesen des Alten Testamentes, so daß sie nicht entdecken, daß es in Christus aufhört;

Empero los sentidos de ellos se embotaron; porque hasta el día de hoy les queda el mismo velo no descubierto en la lección del antiguo testamento, el cual por Cristo es quitado.

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.

sondern bis zum heutigen Tage, so oft Mose gelesen wird, liegt die Decke auf ihrem Herzen.

Y aun hasta el día de hoy, cuando Moisés es leído, el velo está puesto sobre el corazón de ellos.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

Sobald es sich aber zum Herrn bekehrt, wird die Decke weggenommen.

Mas cuando se convirtieren al Señor, el velo se quitará.

Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Denn der Herr ist der Geist; wo aber der Geist des Herrn ist, da ist Freiheit.

Porque el Señor es el Espíritu; y donde hay el Espíritu del Señor, allí hay libertad.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Wir alle aber spiegeln mit unverhülltem Angesicht die Herrlichkeit des Herrn wider und werden umgewandelt in dasselbe Bild, von Herrlichkeit zu Herrlichkeit, nämlich von des Herrn Geist.

Por tanto, nosotros todos, mirando á cara descubierta como en un espejo la gloria del Señor, somos transformados de gloria en gloria en la misma semejanza, como por el Espíritu del Señor.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
