1Por isso, tendo este ministério, segundo a misericórdia que nos foi feita, não desfalecemos.
2Mas já rejeitamos as coisas ocultas e vergonhosas, não andando com astúcia, nem falsificando a Palavra de Deus, mas pela manifestação da verdade fazemos recomendação de nós mesmos à consciência de todos os seres humanos, à vista de Deus.
3Porém se o nosso Evangelho está encoberto, é para os que se perdem que está encoberto;
4Nos quais o deus destes tempos cegou os entendimentos, isto é ,os incrédulos, para que não lhes brilhe a luz do Evangelho da glória de Cristo, que é a imagem de Deus.
5Porque nós não pregamos a nós mesmos, mas sim a Cristo Jesus, o Senhor; e a nós mesmos como vossos servos, por causa de Jesus.
6Porque o Deus que disse que das trevas brilhasse a luz é o mesmo que brilhou em nossos corações, para a iluminação do conhecimento da glória de Deus no rosto de Jesus Cristo.
7Porém temos este tesouro em vasos de barro, para que a excelência do poder seja de Deus, e não de nós.
8Somos em tudo afligidos, mas não esmagados; perplexos, mas não desesperados;
9Perseguidos, mas não desamparados; abatidos, porém não destruídos.
10Sempre por todas as partes trazendo a mortificação do Senhor Jesus no corpo, para que também a vida de Jesus se manifeste em nossos corpos.
11Porque nós, que vivemos, estamos sempre entregues à morte por causa de Jesus, para que também a vida de Jesus se manifeste em nossa carne mortal.
12De maneira que a morte opera em nós, mas em vós opera a vida.
13E nós temos o mesmo Espírito de fé, assim como está escrito: Cri, e por isso falei;Nós também cremos, e por isso também falamos,
14sabendo que o que ressuscitou ao Senhor Jesus, também nos ressuscitará por meio de Jesus, e nos apresentará juntos de vós.
15Porque todas estas coisas são por causa de vós, para que a graça aumente por meio de muitas pessoas ,superabundando os agradecimentos à glória de Deus.
16Por isso não desfalecemos; mas ainda que nosso ser exterior se destrua, todavia o interior se renova a cada dia.
17Porque nossa leve e momentânea aflição nos produz um peso eterno de excelentíssima glória.
18Por isso nós não prestamos atenção para as coisas visíveis, mas sim para as invisíveis; porque as coisas visíveis são temporárias, mas as invisíveis são eternas.

1POR lo cual teniendo nosotros esta administración según la misericordia que hemos alcanzado, no desmayamos;
2Antes quitamos los escondrijos de vergüenza, no andando con astucia, ni adulterando la palabra de Dios, sino por manifestación de la verdad encomendándonos á nosotros mismos á toda conciencia humana delante de Dios.
3Que si nuestro evangelio está aún encubierto, entre los que se pierden está encubierto:
4En los cuales el dios de este siglo cegó los entendimientos de los incrédulos, para que no les resplandezca la lumbre del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, el cual es la imagen de Dios.
5Porque no nos predicamos á nosotros mismos, sino á Jesucristo, el Señor; y nosotros vuestros siervos por Jesús.
6Porque Dios, que mandó que de las tinieblas resplandeciese la luz, es el que resplandeció en nuestros corazones, para iluminación del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios en la faz de Jesucristo.
7Tenemos empero este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la alteza del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros:
8Estando atribulados en todo, mas no angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperamos;
9Perseguidos, mas no desamparados; abatidos, mas no perecemos;
10Llevando siempre por todas partes la muerte de Jesús en el cuerpo, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestros cuerpos.
11Porque nosotros que vivimos, siempre estamos entregados á muerte por Jesús, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestra carne mortal.
12De manera que la muerte obra en nosotros, y en vosotros la vida.
13Empero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, conforme á lo que está escrito: Creí, por lo cual también hablé: nosotros también creemos, por lo cual también hablamos;
14Estando ciertos que el que levantó al Señor Jesús, á nosotros también nos levantará por Jesús, y nos pondrá con vosotros.
15Porque todas estas cosas padecemos por vosotros, para que abundando la gracia por muchos, en el hacimiento de gracias sobreabunde á gloria de Dios.
16Por tanto, no desmayamos: antes aunque este nuestro hombre exterior se va desgastando, el interior empero se renueva de día en día.
17Porque lo que al presente es momentáneo y leve de nuestra tribulación, nos obra un sobremanera alto y eterno peso de gloria;
18No mirando nosotros á las cosas que se ven, sino á las que no se ven: porque las cosas que se ven son temporales, mas las que no se ven son eternas.

1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

1Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
4in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
5For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
6seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
8We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12So then death works in us, but life in you.
13But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,
14knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also through Jesus, and will present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,
18while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
