2 Corintios 4

1C’est pourquoi, ayant ce ministère comme ayant obtenu miséricorde, nous ne nous lassons point,
2mais nous avons entièrement renoncé aux choses honteuses qui se font en secret, ne marchant point avec ruse et ne falsifiant point la parole de Dieu, mais, par la manifestation de la vérité, nous recommandant nous-mêmes à toute conscience d’homme devant Dieu :
3et si aussi notre évangile est voilé, il est voilé en ceux qui périssent,
4en lesquels le dieu de ce siècle a aveuglé les pensées des incrédules, pour que la lumière de l’évangile de la gloire du Christ qui est l’image de Dieu, ne resplendisse pas [pour eux].
5Car nous ne nous prêchons pas nous-mêmes, mais [nous prêchons] le christ Jésus comme Seigneur, et nous-mêmes comme vos esclaves pour l’amour de Jésus.
6Car c’est le Dieu qui a dit que du sein des ténèbres la lumière resplendisse, qui a relui dans nos cœurs pour faire luire la connaissance de la gloire de Dieu dans la face de Christ.
7Mais nous avons ce trésor dans des vases de terre, afin que l’excellence de la puissance soit de Dieu et non pas de nous :
8étant dans la tribulation de toute manière, mais non pas réduits à l’étroit ; dans la perplexité, mais non pas sans ressource ;
9persécutés, mais non pas abandonnés ; abattus, mais ne périssant pas ;
10portant toujours partout dans le corps la mort de Jésus, afin que la vie aussi de Jésus soit manifestée dans notre corps.
11Car nous qui vivons, nous sommes toujours livrés à la mort pour l’amour de Jésus, afin que la vie aussi de Jésus soit manifestée dans notre chair mortelle.
12Ainsi donc la mort opère en nous, mais la vie en vous.
13Or, ayant le même esprit de foi, selon ce qui est écrit : « J’ai cru, c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé », nous aussi nous croyons, c’est pourquoi aussi nous parlons :
14sachant que celui qui a ressuscité le seigneur Jésus, nous ressuscitera aussi avec Jésus, et nous présentera avec vous.
15Car toutes choses sont pour vous, afin que la grâce, abondant par le moyen de plusieurs, multiplie les actions de grâces à la gloire de Dieu.
16C’est pourquoi nous ne nous lassons point ; mais si même notre homme extérieur dépérit, toutefois l’homme intérieur est renouvelé de jour en jour.
17Car notre légère tribulation d’un moment, opère pour nous, en mesure surabondante, un poids éternel de gloire,
18nos regards n’étant pas fixés sur les choses qui se voient, mais sur celles qui ne se voient pas : car les choses qui se voient sont pour un temps, mais celles qui ne se voient pas sont éternelles.

1POR lo cual teniendo nosotros esta administración según la misericordia que hemos alcanzado, no desmayamos;
2Antes quitamos los escondrijos de vergüenza, no andando con astucia, ni adulterando la palabra de Dios, sino por manifestación de la verdad encomendándonos á nosotros mismos á toda conciencia humana delante de Dios.
3Que si nuestro evangelio está aún encubierto, entre los que se pierden está encubierto:
4En los cuales el dios de este siglo cegó los entendimientos de los incrédulos, para que no les resplandezca la lumbre del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, el cual es la imagen de Dios.
5Porque no nos predicamos á nosotros mismos, sino á Jesucristo, el Señor; y nosotros vuestros siervos por Jesús.
6Porque Dios, que mandó que de las tinieblas resplandeciese la luz, es el que resplandeció en nuestros corazones, para iluminación del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios en la faz de Jesucristo.
7Tenemos empero este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la alteza del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros:
8Estando atribulados en todo, mas no angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperamos;
9Perseguidos, mas no desamparados; abatidos, mas no perecemos;
10Llevando siempre por todas partes la muerte de Jesús en el cuerpo, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestros cuerpos.
11Porque nosotros que vivimos, siempre estamos entregados á muerte por Jesús, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestra carne mortal.
12De manera que la muerte obra en nosotros, y en vosotros la vida.
13Empero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, conforme á lo que está escrito: Creí, por lo cual también hablé: nosotros también creemos, por lo cual también hablamos;
14Estando ciertos que el que levantó al Señor Jesús, á nosotros también nos levantará por Jesús, y nos pondrá con vosotros.
15Porque todas estas cosas padecemos por vosotros, para que abundando la gracia por muchos, en el hacimiento de gracias sobreabunde á gloria de Dios.
16Por tanto, no desmayamos: antes aunque este nuestro hombre exterior se va desgastando, el interior empero se renueva de día en día.
17Porque lo que al presente es momentáneo y leve de nuestra tribulación, nos obra un sobremanera alto y eterno peso de gloria;
18No mirando nosotros á las cosas que se ven, sino á las que no se ven: porque las cosas que se ven son temporales, mas las que no se ven son eternas.

1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

1Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
4in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
5For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
6seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
8We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12So then death works in us, but life in you.
13But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,
14knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also through Jesus, and will present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
