Dios, en su misericordia, es el que nos permite servirle, y por eso no nos damos nunca por vencidos.
POR lo cual teniendo nosotros esta administración según la misericordia que hemos alcanzado, no desmayamos;
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

No engañamos a nadie, ni cambiamos la palabra de Dios. No tenemos de qué avergonzarnos, ni hacemos maldades a escondidas. Al contrario, delante de Dios hablamos y proclamamos la verdad ante todas las personas.
Antes quitamos los escondrijos de vergüenza, no andando con astucia, ni adulterando la palabra de Dios, sino por manifestación de la verdad encomendándonos á nosotros mismos á toda conciencia humana delante de Dios.
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

Si algunos no entienden nuestro evangelio, son aquellos que están perdidos,

Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
pues el dios de este mundo los ha cegado y no pueden contemplar la gloriosa luz de la buena noticia acerca de Cristo que brilla ante ellos. Cristo es la imagen de Dios.
En los cuales el dios de este siglo cegó los entendimientos de los incrédulos, para que no les resplandezca la lumbre del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, el cual es la imagen de Dios.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Nosotros no predicamos acerca de nosotros mismos; anunciamos que Jesucristo es el Señor. Lo único que decimos de nosotros es que somos siervos de ustedes por amor a Jesús.
Porque no nos predicamos á nosotros mismos, sino á Jesucristo, el Señor; y nosotros vuestros siervos por Jesús.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Porque Dios, que dijo: «Resplandezca la luz en las tinieblas», hizo brillar su luz en nuestros corazones y nos ha hecho comprender que es el resplandor de su gloria lo que brilla en el rostro de Cristo.
Porque Dios, que mandó que de las tinieblas resplandeciese la luz, es el que resplandeció en nuestros corazones, para iluminación del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios en la faz de Jesucristo.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Pero este precioso tesoro lo guardamos en una vasija de barro. Es así para que sea obvio que este glorioso poder viene de Dios y no de nosotros.
Tenemos empero este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la alteza del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros:
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
Estamos acosados por problemas, pero no estamos vencidos. Enfrentamos grandes dificultades, pero no nos desesperamos.
Estando atribulados en todo, mas no angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperamos;
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
Nos persiguen, pero Dios no nos abandona nunca. Nos derriban, pero no nos pueden destruir.
Perseguidos, mas no desamparados; abatidos, mas no perecemos;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
Por dondequiera que vamos, este cuerpo nuestro se enfrenta a la muerte al igual que Jesús, para que también la vida de Jesús se manifieste en nosotros.
Llevando siempre por todas partes la muerte de Jesús en el cuerpo, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestros cuerpos.
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
A diario corremos peligro de muerte por servir a Jesús, para que también en nosotros se vea la vida que Jesús da.
Porque nosotros que vivimos, siempre estamos entregados á muerte por Jesús, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestra carne mortal.
For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

En conclusión: La muerte actúa en nosotros y en ustedes se hace presente la vida.
De manera que la muerte obra en nosotros, y en vosotros la vida.
So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Con esa actitud de quienes creen en Dios, nosotros declaramos lo que creemos. Como está escrito: «Creí y por eso hablé».
Empero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, conforme á lo que está escrito: Creí, por lo cual también hablé: nosotros también creemos, por lo cual también hablamos;

Sabemos que el mismo Dios que resucitó al Señor Jesús nos resucitará también a nosotros con Jesús, y junto con ustedes nos llevará a su presencia.
Estando ciertos que el que levantó al Señor Jesús, á nosotros también nos levantará por Jesús, y nos pondrá con vosotros.

Lo que padecemos es por el bien de ustedes. Y mientras más sean los que reciban el amor de Dios, más gracias habrá que dar a Dios por su gran bondad, y mayor gloria recibirá el Señor.
Porque todas estas cosas padecemos por vosotros, para que abundando la gracia por muchos, en el hacimiento de gracias sobreabunde á gloria de Dios.
For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Por eso, nunca nos damos por vencidos. Aunque este cuerpo nuestro se va desgastando, por dentro nos renovamos cada vez más.
Por tanto, no desmayamos: antes aunque este nuestro hombre exterior se va desgastando, el interior empero se renueva de día en día.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Pues nuestros pequeños y pasajeros sufrimientos producen una gloria eterna más grande y abundante.
Porque lo que al presente es momentáneo y leve de nuestra tribulación, nos obra un sobremanera alto y eterno peso de gloria;

Por lo tanto, no nos importa lo que ahora se ve, sino que fijamos la mirada en lo que todavía no vemos. Porque lo que se ve es pasajero, mientras que lo que no se ve no cesará jamás.
No mirando nosotros á las cosas que se ven, sino á las que no se ven: porque las cosas que se ven son temporales, mas las que no se ven son eternas.
