2 Corintios 5

Darum lassen wir es uns angelegen sein (ist es unser Ehrgeiz, trachten wir danach), sei es in der Fremde, sei es Zuhause, ihm (wohlgefällig zu sein =) zu gefallen.

Por tanto procuramos también, ó ausentes, ó presentes, serle agradables:

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
